Problem-based learning (PBL) plays a pivotal role in improving the clinical competency of nursing students. We identified the effect of PBL-integrative nursing process (PBL-INP) education program on teamwork, problem-solving ability, confidence in nursing process, and critical thinking disposition among nursing students. This study used a one-group pre–post-test design to verify the effects of the program. Participants were 78 second-year students from a nursing school located in Chungcheong-do. The program was performed for eight weeks from May 1 to June 23, 2023. There were significant differences in teamwork (t = 3.76, p < .001) and problem-solving ability (t = 2.27, p = .025) before and after the PBL-INP. There was a significant difference in the confidence in the nursing process (t = 6.09, p < .001) and critical thinking disposition (t = 2.46, p = .016) before and after the intervention. The PBL-INP was effective in improving teamwork, problem-solving ability, confidence in nursing process, and clinical thinking disposition among second-year nursing students. The PBL-INP program was an effective educational method, and this study provides basic data to improve nursing students’ nursing process learning ability.


문제중심학습은 간호대학생들의 임상역량을 향상시키는데 있어 중추적인 역할을 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 문제중심학습기반 통합 간호과정교육 프로그램이 간호대학생의 팀워크, 문제해결능력, 간호과정 자신감 및 비판적 사고성향에 미치는 영향을 확인하는 것이다. 본 프로그램은 간호과정 수업에 참여하는 간호대학생 2학년을 대상으로 8주 동안 총 14시간을 진행하였다. 연구 결과 본 교육 프로그램에 참여한 간호대학생은 팀워크(t=3.76, p<.001), 문제해결능력(t=2.27, p=.025), 간호과정 자신감(t=6.09, p<.001), 비판적 사고성향(t=2.46, p=.016)이 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구는 문제기반학습 통합 간호과정 교육 프로그램이 효과적인 교육방법임을 확인되었으므로, 간호대학생들의 간호과정학습능력 향상을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
