이 연구는 초등 통합교과 교육과정의 디지털 소양 함양 가능성을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2022 개정 교육과정 추구하는 기초소양으로서 디지털 소양이 어떠한 개념이며 이를 가르치기 위해 구축한 내용 기준은 어떠한 모습인지를 고찰하고 초등 통합교과 교육과정과 디지털 리터러시 구성 체계 간 관련을 분석하여 초등 통합교과 교육과정의 디지털 소양 함양 가능성을 논의하였다. 연구 결과 초등 통합교과 교육과정과 디지털 소양은 직, 간접적으로 유의미한 관련을 맺고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 직접적 관련은 교육과정 문서상 디지털 소양 관련 내용이 직접적으로 언급된 경우를 뜻하며 간접적 관련은 이와 관련한 내용이 표면적으로는 드러나지 않으나 충분히 관련이 있다고 판단되는 경우를 뜻하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 초등 통합교과 교육과정은 교육과정 차원에서 디지털 소양 관련 내용을 충분히 연계하고 포섭할 수 있는 공간을 마련하고, 디지털 리터러시 구성 체계도 초등 통합교과 교육과정과의 관련은 물론 저학년 학생의 특성에 적합한 학습 활동 목록을 구축하여 제시함으로써 초등 통합교과 교육과정을 통한 디지털 소양 함양 가능성을 확보하기 위해 양측이 충분히 노력해 왔다는 점을 밝힐 수 있었다.
The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of fostering digital literacy in the elementary integrated subjects curriculum. To this end, this study examines the concept of digital literacy as the basic literacy pursued in the 2022 revised curriculum, considers the content standards established to teach it, and discuss the possibility of cultivating digital literacy by analyzing the relationship between the elementary integrated subjects curriculum and the digital literacy composition system. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that there is a significant direct and indirect relationship between elementary integrated subjects curriculum and digital literacy. Direct relationship refers to cases where digital literacy-related content is directly mentioned in the curriculum document, and indirect relationship refers to cases where related content is not revealed on the surface but is judged to be sufficiently related. Based on these research results, it is found that the elementary integrated subjects curriculum provides a space to sufficiently link and include digital literacy-related content at the curriculum level, and that the digital literacy composition system is designed in relation to the elementary integrated subjects curriculum. In addition, it was revealed that both sides had made sufficient efforts to secure the possibility of cultivating digital literacy through the elementary integrated subjects curriculum by constructing and presenting a list of learning activities suitable for the characteristics of lower grade students.
