코로나19 팬데믹 현상은 교육 환경을 변화시켰고, 교수ㆍ학습 방법에 관한 많은 도전과 과제를 던져주었다. 이러한 시대적 변화에 따라 통일교육 현장도 온라인 기반의 교육 환경 시스템을 어느 정도 구축한 상태이다. 최근 들어 ChatGPT와 같은 AI 기술의 발전으로 인해 온라인 환경에서의 교수ㆍ학습은 더욱 활성화 될 것이다. 이에 따라 펜데믹 상황에서 불가피하게 비대면 교육으로 전환했던 프로그램들을 온ㆍ오프라인 블렌디드 교육 프로그램으로 재구조화하는 방안을 모색할 필요가 있다. 이 연구에서는 국내 유일의 정부 직영 통일체험기관인 한반도통일미래센터의 프로그램 사례를 분석하고 과제를 검토하였다. 블렌디드 러닝 기반 통일교육은 실시간 정보 탐색이라는 기능을 통해 다양한 정보들을 현실적으로 접근할 수 있게 한다. 또한 온ㆍ오프라인의 연결성 있는 교육과정은 보다 장기적이고 체계적인 통일교육의 교육과정을 구축할 수 있는 가능성을 열어준다.
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the educational environment and left many tasks concerning teaching-learning methods to be undertaken. In accordance with these changes, the unification education field has to some extent established an online-based educational environment. Recently, due to the development of AI technologies such as ChatGPT, teaching and learning in the online environment have become more active. Accordingly, it is necessary to find a way to restructure the programs that inevitably switched to non-face-to-face education during the pandemic into blended learning-based programs. In this study, the program of the Center for Unified Korean Future, the only government-direct unification experience institution in Korea, was analyzed and tasks were reviewed. Blended learning-based unification education allows realistic access to various information through a function called real-time information search. In addition, an online and offline connected curriculum points to the potential for establishing a more long-term and systematic approach to unification education.
