본 연구는 초현실주의 작품 속에서 나타나는 데페이즈망 표현을 통해 현대 금속 공예의 조형 표현을분석하여 현대 금속 공예의 개념 및 융합 표현의 이해를 돕기 위해 시작하였다. 이에 초현실주의 속에서나타난 데페이즈망 표현을 통해 그 개념과 전개를 살핀 후 현대금속 공예작품에도 적용하여 분류 및 분석하였다. 결과적으로 데페이즈망 기법을 통한 분석은현대 금속 공예에서도 충분히 적용할 수 있었고 다양한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 공예의 특성인 재료적, 쓰임적 특성이 고려된 본연의 표현, 이형적 표현, 융합적 표현과 표현 공간에 대한 이해를 통한 개념적 분류가 더해진다면 현대금속 공예의 창의적인 개념 및표현에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있음을 알 수 있었으며차후 이와 연관된 연구를 위한 참고 자료로써 그 역할을 할 수 있게 되기를 기대한다.
This study was initiated to help understand the concept and fusion expression of modern metal craft by analyzing the formative expression of modern metal craft through the expression of depayment in surrealist works. Accordingly, the concept and development were examined through the expression of dépaysement that appeared in surrealism, and then applied to modern metal craft works to be classified and analyzed. As a result, analysis using the dépaysment technique was fully applicable to modern metal crafts and various results were obtained. If conceptual classification through understanding of original expression, heterogeneous expression, fusion expression and expression space considering the material and usage characteristics of craftsmanship is added, the understanding of creative concepts and expressions of modern metal crafts will be improved. I able to see that this could be done, and I hope that it will serve as a reference for future related research.
