This study is conducted to investigate consumers’ perceived risk of seafood consumption influence on consumers' attitudes towards seafood consumption due to Fukushima nuclear disaster wastewater ocean discharge, and how these attitudes, in turn, affect their consumption intentions. Additionally, the study aimed to compare the perceived risk of seafood consumption, attitude toward seafood consumption, and seafood consumption intention by gender and age. To achieve these objectives, an online survey was conducted, and data from 200 respondents were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 22.0. The analysis revealed that the perceived risk of consuming seafood negatively influences attitude, and attitudes towards seafood consumption positively influence consumption intentions. The perceived risk of seafood consumption and seafood consumption intention was higher among men than women. Attitudes toward seafood consumption did not differ by gender, but those in the younger age group (20〜40) were more likely to consume seafood than those in the older age group (50〜60).
