《诗经》中有60首作品提及到了“君子”这个词,不仅词汇的出现频率高,而且它的含义也比较丰富。20世纪80年代以来《诗经直解》、《诗经译注》,以及《诗集传》、《诗经今注》等几部作品的有关释义,都是非常有代表性的。其中由于各家对于“君子”一词的释义的不同而产生了不同的对于诗作主旨的解释。而且纵观《诗经》,“君子”一词在更多情况下表现的是政治性概念,这又与继《论语》之后产生的道德属性较强的、着重表现理想人格的“君子”概念有所不同,它的释义极为丰富,而且就某一篇诗歌而言古今各家都有相同或不同的解释,对于《诗经》中“君子”一词的考察非常有参考价值,对今后《诗经》的鉴赏与研究有独特的意义。


In the "Shi Jing(诗经)", there are 60 poems that mention the term "JUN ZI"(君子), which is not only a frequently occurring word but also has a rich and varied meaning. Since the 1980s, several notable works such as "ShiJing Zhijie(诗经直解)”, "ShiJing Yizhu(诗经译注)", "Shiji Zhuan(诗集传)”and "ShiJing Jinzhu”(诗经今注)) have provided interpretations related to this term, and they are highly representative. Due to differences in the interpretations of the term "JUN ZI" by various scholars, different explanations of the main themes of the poems have emerged. Moreover, throughout the "Shi Jing", the term "JUN ZI" often conveys a political concept, which is different from the concept of a "JUN ZI" with stronger moral attributes and an emphasis on representing an ideal personality, as seen in the Confucian "Analects"(论语). The interpretation of "JUN ZI" is very diverse, and for individual poems, both ancient and modern scholars have offered similar or different explanations. So, The examination of the term "gentleman" in the Book of "Shi Jing" is very meaningful. and holds unique significance for the appreciation and study of the "Shi Jing" in the future.
