문학기계로서 AI는 예술의 지평을 확장하는 인간-비인간 동맹의 주요 세력으로 부상 중 이다. 본고는 창조적 욕망을 지닌 인간이 생성언어와 AI문학기계라는 발명품을 활용해 최종 결과와 의미에 천착해온 기존 텍스트 관행을 벗어나 문학의 잠재성을 개척하기 위한 혼종 전략과 과정을 탐구한다. 이를 위해 인간의 미적 충동과 기계의 생성 기능을 연결하는 생성언어의이중 집합 구조를 해명하고, 의미 혼종과 확률 혼종을 실행 전략으로 제안한다. 또한 5개의 실험을 사례로 삼아, 생성언어예술에서 문학적 체험은 예측 가능한 대상을 제작하는 것이 아니라, 불확실성을 전제로 언어 혼종을통해 제3의 언어 존재를 탄생시키는 과정에서 발생함을 주장한다. 생성언어와 AI문학의 작동 원리와 특성을 고려할 때, 비평은 창작자의 과정언어 설계와 준수 여부에 주목해야한다. 과정언어를 통해 AI와 인간의 협업에 관한미적, 윤리적 성취를 판단하는 근거가 마련되고, 잠재성의 언어 세계를 개척하는 예술적 공조가 강화될 것이다
This study explores AI as a literary machine. It discusses the ‘double structure’of generative language, focusing on the interaction between human and machinein both creation and final product. It introduces ‘semantic and probabilistichybrid subjects’, emphasizing the ‘birth’ of the combination of human aestheticsand the computational roles of AI in the creation of new art forms. The studyargues for a critical evaluation of the artistic and ethical elements of generativetext arts. The study argues that artificial intelligence literature can realizeits artistic value when it is developed and evaluated based on knowledgeof AI mechanisms and creative processes.
