이 연구는 디지털 인문학의 원리를 바탕으로 디지털 아동문학교육의 범주와 원리를 탐구하고, 포토보이스를 전략을 활용하여 교육활동의 가능성을 고찰한 연구이다. 디지털 인문학은 디지털과 인문학을 접목하려는 연구와 교육을 포함한 새로운 분야를 망라하는 학제적 접근방법을 취하며, 그 가치는 개방성(openness), 지식(knowledge), 큐레이션(curation)에 있다. 따라서 세 가치를 교육 원리로 삼아 디지털 아동문학교육의 내용을 구성하고자 하였다. 디지털 아동문학교육의 사례로서 포토보이스를 활용한 동시 감상 활동을 설계하여, 초등학교 6학년 학생들에게 적용하고, 활동 내용을 질적으로 분석하였다. 포토보이스를 활용한 동시 감상 활동은 학생들의 학습 주의력을 유지시키고 학습과제에 쉽게 접근하도록 하였으며, 학생들의 일상생활을 감상의 장면으로 수월하게 접목할 수 있는 장점이 있었다. 또한 시에 대한 감상과 디지털 사진 만들기가 통합적 예술 활동으로써 의미가 있음을 파악할 수 있었으며, 이 과정에서 학생들의 큐레이션 역량이나 지식을 공유하려는 태도도 발견할 수 있었다. 반면, 학생들이 온라인 플랫폼 사용에서 학생들의 집중력이 낮아지는 경향도 보였다. 본 연구를 기반으로 다양한 디지털 아동문학교육 활동이 구안되고 실행되기를 기대한다.
This study explores the categories and principles of digital children's literature education, grounded in the principles of digital humanities. It also examines the possibility and effectiveness of educational activities utilizing photo voice strategies. Digital humanities embrace an interdisciplinary approach that integrates new fields, including research and education, to merge digital and humanities. Their value is rooted in knowledge, and curation. As a result, three values were employed as educational principles to shape the content of digital children's literature education. As an example of digital children's literature education, a simultaneous appreciation activity using photo voice was designed, applied to sixth graders in elementary school, and the activity contents were qualitatively analyzed. Simultaneous appreciation activities using photo voices sustained students’ focus, facilitated easy access to learning tasks, and seamlessly integrated students' daily lives into scenes of appreciation. Additionally, the study revealed that appreciating poetry and creating digital photos were meaningful as integrated artistic activities. Throughout the process, students demonstrated a willingness to share their curation capabilities and knowledge. Conversely, students' concentration tended to decrease when they used the online platform. Drawing from this study, it is anticipated that diverse digital children’s literature education activities will be conceived and implemented.
