본고는 2022 개정 한문과 교육과정이 고시됨에 따라 한문과 기본이수과목 중 ‘한문학사’의 운영 방향을 모색하고자 하였다. 주지하듯이 ‘한문학사’는 문학담당층의 특성, 문풍의 변화, 새로운 문학 장르의 출현 등 통시적 안목에서 한문학의 전체적인 흐름을 파악하기 위한 과목이다. 한문학의 시대, 장르, 작가, 비평 개념 등을 넘나드는 광범위한 내용을 포괄하기 때문에 대학마다 해당 과목의 편제와 구성, 강의 내용과 방법 등에서 일부 차이를 보인다. 따라서 한문학사의 운영 방향을 모색하기 위해, 2022 교육과정 내용과 함께 각 대학의 한문학사 운영 현황을 살펴 그 특징을 분석하였다. 게다가 교과서와 임용시험 내 한문학사와 관련한 부분도 검토하였다. 이를 통해서 한문 교사가 되기 위해서, 또 한문 교사로서 수업을 하기 위해서, 한문학사와 관련한 어떠한 이해가 필요한지 살펴보았다. 이러한 검토를 바탕으로 한문학사는 학문 독해에 매몰되는 데에서 벗어나 한문학 작품의 가치와 의미를 생각하고 한국의 역사와 문화를 더 깊이 이해하는 방향으로 운영되어야 함을 밝혔다. 나아가 이를 위해 한문학사 관련 2개의 과목에서 시대의 순서에 따른 평면적 운영을 지양하고 각 과목별로 한문학사에 대해 달리 접근할 것을 제안하였다. 구체적으로 하나의 과목(한문학사1)에서는 시기별 주요 문학 담당층의 문학 작품이나 그들과 관련한 문예사조를 다루고, 또 다른 과목(한문학사2)에서는 통시적인 한문학사 주제를 다루는 것을 제안하였다.
As the 2022 revised Chinese literature curriculum was announced, this paper attempted to explore the direction of operation of "History of Chinese literature in korea" among Chinese literature basic courses. As is well known, "History of Chinese literature in korea" is a subject to understand the overall flow of Chinese literature from a synchronic perspective, such as the characteristics of the writer's class, changes in literary style, and the emergence of new literary genres. Since the subject encompasses a wide range of content across the era of Chinese literature, genres, writers, and critical concepts, there are some differences in the organization and composition of the subject, and the contents and methods of lectures at different universities. Therefore, in order to explore the direction of operation of “History of Chinese Literature in Korea”, the characteristics of each university's operation status were analyzed along with the contents of the 2022 curriculum in relation to Chinese literature. And In the textbook and teacher employment exam the part related to the History of Chinese Literature in Korea were reviewed. Based on this review, it was revealed that the “History of Chinese Literature in Korea” should be operated in the direction of thinking about the value and meaning of works of Chinese literature and understanding Korean history and culture in a deeper way, away from being buried in academic reading. Furthermore, it was suggested that two subjects related to “History of Chinese Literature in Korea”should avoid flat operation in the order of the times and approach Chinese literature differently for each subject. Specifically, in the first subject, it was proposed to deal with the literary works of the major literary classes by period or the literary trends related to them, and in the second subject, it was proposed to deal with topics related to the history of synchronic Chinese literature.
