사이버 펑크 장르는 과학 기술이 고도로 발달한 사회를 그리는 한편, 자본주의 체제의 극단을 담아낸다. 「사이버 펑크 2077」 역시 장르적 특성을 공유하면서 독특한 설정이 추가되는데 바로 ‘사이버 사이코시스’라는 가상의 정신병이다. 본고는 「사이버 펑크 2077」에 나타나는 ‘사이버 사이코시스’가 지닌 의미에 대해서 살펴본다. 사이버 웨어는 신체 강화와 다양한 기능을 활용할 수 있게 하지만 ‘인간성’소비가 뒤따른다. 과도한 장착은 인간성 상실로 이어지며 결국 ‘사이버 사이코시스’가 발병한다. 본고에서는 ‘사이버 사이코시스’와 ‘인간성’의 관계를 통해 상징적 질서 체제의 작동 원리를 파악하는 한편, ‘V’를 통해 ‘왜상(歪像)’의 지점을 살펴본다.
The cyberpunk genre depicts a society with highly developed science and technology, while also capturing the extremes of the capitalist system. 「Cyberpunk 2077」 also shares the characteristics of the genre but adds a unique setting: a virtual mental illness called ‘cyber psychosis.’ This paper examines the meaning of ‘cyber psychosis’ that appears in 「Cyberpunk 2077」. Cyberware allows physical enhancement and various functions, but it comes with the consumption of ‘humanity’. Excessive installation leads to loss of humanity and eventually causes ‘cyber psychosis’. In this paper, we understand the operating principle of the symbolic order system through the relationship between ‘cyberpsychosis’ and ‘humanity’, while examining the point of ‘anamorphism’ through ‘V’.
