China and South Korea have a close relationship in terms of trading agricultural products, and there is ample room for the development of China's export of agricultural products to South Korea. The bilateral trade scale of agricultural products between China and South Korea showed an increasing trend, and the export volume of agricultural products from China to South Korea was significantly higher than the export volume of agricultural products from South Korea to China. China has a significant advantage over South Korea with respect to the trade surplus of agricultural products. In terms of relative status, China and South Korea are important agricultural import and export markets for both sides. The technical trade barrier measures set up by South Korea against China have exceeded the reasonable range and have obvious trade protection properties, which were frequently used in practical operations. Technical barriers to trade have become a major issue that China needs to address in order to alleviate its current agricultural export trade difficulties and further develop agricultural trade. This study mainly identified the current status and problems regarding the exportation of Chines agricultural products to South Korea, and recommended strategies that China should implement to increase th volume of exports to Korea in the future.
