이 연구는 미래교육 논의가 신자유주의적인 언어와 논리에 포획되어 제한적으로 이루어지고 있다는 문제의식에서 출발하여, 대안적인 미래교육 논의를 가능하게 하는 방법론을 모색하는 시도라고 할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 새로운 현실을 창안하기 위해 사회 내에 존재하는 변혁의 가능성을 탐지하고 이를 실험하고자 하는 G. Deleuze와 F. Guattari(1983, 1987)의 분열분석(schizoanalysis)이 하나의 방법론이 될 수 있다고 보고, 그것의 등장배경과 기조, 과제 등을 탐색함으로써 이에 대한 시사점을 얻고자 했다. 분열분석은 정신분석이 ‘무의식(the unconscious)’이라는 새로운 영역을 발견하였으나 그것의 잠재력을 ‘오이디푸스’라는 특정한 구조하에 가둔다고 보고, 이를 해방시키고자 한다. 이를 위하여 먼저 분열분석은 ‘오이디푸스’가 자본주의 사회에서 유순한 주체를 길러내는 기제로 작동하는 방식을 비판적으로 해체한다. 다음으로 욕망의 생산적이자 기계적이고 분열적인 성격에 주목하며, 욕망 생산의 다양한 방향을 긍정하고 새로운 방향의 욕망 생산을 유도함으로써 변혁과 전복의 가능성을 타진하고자 한다. 분열분석 방법론에 따라볼 때, 향후 미래교육 논의는 현재의 미래교육 담론이 어떻게 욕망을 포획하고 있는지에 대해 비판적으로 돌아볼 필요가 있으며, 미래교육 배치 내에서 특정한 방식으로 작동하는 요소들을 탈취하여 이전과는 다르게 활용할 방안을 강구할 필요가 있었다. 더 나아가 체제 내에서 자기만의 감각, 사고방식, 삶의 스타일을 만들어가고자 하는 분열적인 움직임을 타진하여 이들과의 새로운 관계 양식을 실험할 필요도 있었다.
This study explores a methodology that facilitates discussions surrounding alternative future education, addressing the limitation of such discussions by neoliberal language and logic. It posits that G. Deleuze and F. Guattari (1983, 1987)'s schizoanalysis — which aims to detect and experiment with possibilities for societal transformation for the forging of new realities — can serve as a viable methodology. This study seeks to draw implications from schizoanalysis by examining its background, orientations, and tasks. Schizoanalysis argues that, while psychoanalysis has identified 'the unconscious,' it has also confined its potential within a specific structure, namely the Oedipus. Therefore, schizoanalysis aims to liberate this potential. This begins with a critical deconstruction of how the Oedipus captures desires and cultivates docile subjects in a capitalist society. It then highlights the productive, machinic, and schizophrenic nature of desire, affirming and promoting the various directions of desire production. This approach opens up possibilities for transformation and subversion. According to schizoanalysis, discussions on future education should critically reflect on how the current discourse captures desire. It is also crucial to identify and reinterpret elements within the future education assemblage that function in specific ways with the aim of utilizing them differently from prior approaches. Furthermore, experimenting with new engagement modes is necessary for tapping into schizophrenic desires to carve out unique senses, thought processes, and lifestyles within the prevailing system.
