국제학생들의 한국화 수업을 위해 수묵화와 문인화 창작 실기교육의 국제화를 위한 수업 전략을 수립하고 수업의 결과를 분석하였다. 수묵화를 처음 접해보는 학생들을 위해 수묵화의 재료적 특성과 도구의 사용법을 영어로 설명하였고, 수묵으로그려지는 문인화의 개념과 사생과 사의를 기반으로 하는 문인의 창작태도를 생각하고 체험할 수 있도록 하였다. 이러한 수업을 통해 학생들은 자신이 직접 관찰한 풍경을 사실적으로 재현할 수 있었고, 실제로 볼 수는 없지만 기억 속에 있는 관념적풍경을 수묵의 기법으로 표현할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 국제학생들이 서로 다른지역과 문화의 경험에 기반한 문인화 작품을 제작해보고 이를 통해 타학생과 자신의생각과 감정을 공유할 수 있어, 수묵화 창작 실기교육을 통해 학생들이 문인화의 핵심 명제인 소통과 공감을 할 수 있는 교육적 의의와 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.
For the Korean painting class with international students, I set the teaching strategy for the internationalization of art education on ink wash painting and literati painting practice and analyzed the curriculum and teaching strategy. For the students who don’t have experiences with ink wash painting, the materiality of ink and paper and how to use the material were explained in simple and familiar English expressions to the students. The students learned and experienced the concept of literati painting with ink and its creative attitude based on observation and thoughts. Through these classes, students were able to produce the landscape they observed in person and the conceptual scenery in their memory using the Korean painting techniques. Through this study, international students could share their experiences of different cultures and thoughts through their work. Through the curriculum, students could develop their way of communication and ability of feeling empathy, which are the core of literati painting. With this research I could explore the educational significance and possibility of art education for international students.
