이 글은 강릉단오굿 무가에 나타난 제의성과 놀이성의 조화를 살핀 글이다. 제의성은 굿의 본래 목적을 그대로 보여주는 것으로 굿이 제의로 존재하고 있음을 개념화한 것이고, 놀이성은 굿이 가지고 놀이의 모습을 개념화한 것이다. 이 글에서는 강릉단오굿의 일반무가 중에서 <부정굿>과 <청좌굿> 무가를 살폈고, 서사무가는 <세존굿>을, 극무가는 <도리강관원놀이>를 살폈다. 강릉단오굿의 일반무가는 제의성을 강조하고 있고, 서사무가는 제의성과 놀이성이 결합되어 있으며, 극무가는 놀이성을 강조하는 면을 보인다. 강릉단오굿 무가는 제의성과 놀이성을 적절하게 배분하여 활용하고 있는데 그것은 각각 일반무가, 서사무가, 극무가에 따라 다르게 나타난다. 강릉단오굿 무가는 무가의 갈래별로 제의성과 놀이성의 정도가 다르게 나타난다. 이러한 흐름 속에서 강릉단오굿 무가는 한국의 다른 지역 무가와 공통된 모습을 보이면서도 차별성을 보이고 있다. 앞으로 강릉단오굿 무가 완판을 조사 정리한 결과물이 간행되기를 기대하는 것은 강릉단오굿 무가가 가지고 있는 이러한 가치가 널리 알려지기를 바라기 때문이다. 이와 함께 강릉단오굿의 아카이브도 구축되어 디지털 해리티지로(Digital Heritage)로 인정되기를 바란다.
This article contemplates the harmony of the ritual feature and play feature appearing in the muga (singing and dancing) of Gangreung Dano-gut. The ritual feature displays the innate purpose of a gut (shaman ceremony) that conceptualizes the gut existed as the ritual ceremony, while the play feature conceptualizes the appearance of play held in the gut. In this article, the muga of <Bujeong-gut> and <Cheongza-gut> has seen from the general muga of Gangreung Dano-gut, and the lyrical muga takes a look at <Saejon-gut> while the drama muga takes a look at <Doriganggwanwon-nori>. The general muga emphasizes the ritual feature while the lyrical muga combines the ritual feature and play feature, and the drama muga tends to emphasize the play feature. The muga of Gangreung Dano-gut facilitates the ritual feature and play feature by appropriate allocation and it is displayed differently depending on general muga, lyrical muga and drama muga. The muga of Gangreung Dano-gut displays differently for the degree of ritual feature and play feature for each branch of the muga. Under such flow, the muga of Gangreung Dano-gut shows the common features of muga in other regions of Korea as well as differentiation from the other regions as well. In the future, it is expected to publish certain outcome that surveys and arranges the complete version of the muga of Gangreung Dano-gut since the values contained in the muga of Gangreung Dano-gut is hoped to be broadly known throughout. Together with this issue, it is hoped to structure the archive of Gangreung Dano-gut to be acknowledged as the digital heritage.
