Coronavirus infection-19 (COVID-19) is a disease caused by a type 2 severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2, SARS-CoV-2 infection, of which more than 500 million people worldwide died by early June 2022, of which more than 630 people died. COVID-19 also has a wide variety of clinical symptoms. Typical symptoms include respiratory infections such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, and sore throat, as well as non-specific symptoms such as loss of taste and smell, fatigue, muscle pain, etc. Many patients also suffer from various physical, mental, and psychological aftereffects even after complete recovery of COVID-19 infection. Most of the COVID-19 infection-related studies were mainly lung function degradation and clinical classification after COVID-19 infection, but it was difficult to find a paper on lung function based on the results of lung function tests before and after COVID-19 infection. In this paper, we would like to compare the results of the lung function test before COVID-19 infection with the results of the lung function test after COVID-19 infection to find out whether COVID-19 infection affects the lung function of healthy adults. Effortful lung capacity (FEV1,) for 1 second before and after COVID-19 infection, COVID-19 decreased to 74% compared to before infection. The first second rate before and after COVID-19 infection (Percent of FEV1,/FVC) was 75%, and the first second rate after infection was 74%, down from before and after infection, but the first second rate before and after infection was found to be normal. When comparing the results of the effortless lung capacity (FVC) test, the value of FVC after infection was 86%, down from 87% before infection. As a result of this study, it was found that the COVID-19 virus affects lung function before and after COVID-19 infection in healthy adults.
