The purpose of this paper is to provide a theological alternative that is based on Pneumatological anthropology to the challenge of a new human image in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is the opening of the era of omniscient, omnipotent, and immortal human beings emerging in a transcendent, supernatural, and hyperconnected world. Up until now, mankind has maintained a rational approach to thinking through reason, emotion, and will, which encompasses the realm of the flesh and the soul. The current human image trapped within the current material laws and principles cannot be used to approach or lead the surreal world of the future. The world of the future is the surreal world led by humans with superpowers. Thus, the future world will be governed only by the realm of spirit, which is located within humans. According to Youngsan, humans who are created in the image of God are made up of three parts: spirit, soul, and body. The human spirit is created by the Spirit of God and it is a location where one can have a spiritual connection with God. At the same time, it can be considered as a ‘vessel dedicated to God.’ When God begins to open the realm of the spirit, a huge transcendent reality of God’s kingdom will unfold among us. Now is the time for humans to transform themselves into spiritual people of the spiritual world who can understand and accept the transcendent world beyond the realm of soul, where reason and rationality play a pivotal role, and the realm of the flesh, which is connected to the material world through the senses. The era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is transcendent and a world of superpowers. According to Youngsan, only spiritual human beings endowed with the Holy Spirit and born by the Holy Spirit are capable of producing transcendent power that cannot be explained by science, reason, or knowledge. In the future, humans like God and humans full of the Holy Spirit are likely to lead the world. This paper will argue that the only human being who can replace the mechanized or dehumanized ‘new human,’ who will lead the upcoming era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, is the spiritual human of the fourth dimension.
본 논문은 초월적이고 초능력적이며 초연결성의 세계 속에 등장하고 있는 전지하고 전능하며 불멸할 수 있는 초인적 혹은 신적 인간의 시대를 열고 있는 4차 산업혁명 시대의 새로운 인간상에 대한 도전에 하나의 신학적 대안을 성령론적 인간론을 통해 제시하고자 한다. 지금까지 인류는 육의 영역 곧 육체의 힘과 혼의 영역 곧 이성과 감성과 의지를 통한 이성적이고 합리적인 사고관으로 세상을 이끌어 왔다. 하지만 미래의 초현실적 세계는 현재의 물질적인 법칙과 원리 안에 갇혀 있는 기존의 인간상으로는 결코 접근할 수도 이끌어갈 수도 없다. 미래의 세계는 초현실적이며 초능력의 인간이 이끌어 가는 세계이다. 그렇기에 오직 인간 안에 자리 잡고 있는 영의 영역이 중심이 되어야만 미래의 세계를 다스릴 수 있을 것이다. 영산은 하나님의 형상으로서 창조된 인간이 영과 혼과 육의 세 부분으로 구성되었다고 말하고 있다. 인간의 영은 하나님의 성령에 의해 창조되어 하나님과 영적인 관계를 맺는 장소인 동시에 “하나님을 모시는 그릇”이다. 하나님이 거하시는 영의 영역을 열기 시작할 때 하나님 나라의 거대한 초월적 실제가 우리 가운데 펼쳐질 것이다. 이제 인간은 이성과 합리성이 중추적 역할을 해온 혼의 영역과 물질세계와 감각적으로 연결되어 있는 육의 영역을 넘어서 초월적 세계를 이해하고 수용할 수 있는 영의 영역 곧 영의 사람으로 변신할 때가 온 것이다. 4차 산업혁명 시대의 특징은 초월적이며 초능력의 세계이다. 영산의 말대로 성령으로 태어나고 성령 충만한 영적인 인간만이 과학과 이성과 지식으로 설명할 수 없는 초월적인 힘을 낼 수 있다. 앞으로 신과 같은 인간, 성령으로 충만한 선한 자유의지를 가진 인간이 이 세상을 이끌어 갈 것이다. 본 논문은 4차 산업혁명 시대를 이끌어 갈 기계화된 혹은 비인격화된 “신적 인간”을 대체할 수 있는 유일한 인간은 바로 4차원의 영적 인간이라는 것을 제시할 것이다.
