This article examines the social issues concerning Muslim integration in France and considers their missiological implications. Muslim integration presents a pertinent yet relatively understudied topic in missiology. It intersects with significant contemporary issues of international migration, diaspora communities, religiously plural society, and ethno-cultural identity formation. Using research literature published in multiple social scientific fields during the past two decades, the article examines the challenges facing French Muslims and their lived experiences of discrimination and identity negotiation. Then it draws missiological implications including possible Christian responses to engage Muslims in Europe and beyond. The author argues for a theological and ethical framework based on Jesus’ triad commands and practical suggestions for engaging migrant Muslims using a three-level approach.
이 글은 프랑스의 무슬림 통합에 관련된 사회적 문제와 그 선교학적 의미를 고찰하고 있다. 서구 사회의 무슬림 통합은 선교학에 있어서 타당한 영역임에도 불구하고 충분히 연구되지 않은 주제이다. 이것은 국제 이주, 디아스포라 공동체, 종교적 다원화 사회, 종족 문화적 정체성 형성과 같은 중요한 현대의 문제와 교차하고 있다. 이 글은 지난 20년 동안 여러 사회 과학 분야에서 출판된 연구 문헌을 사용하여 프랑스 무슬림이 직면한 도전 및 차별, 정체성 협상의 생생한 경험을 조사하고 있다. 그 다음 유럽과 그 밖의 지역에서 무슬림들과 관계하기 위한 기독교적 대응조치와 선교학적 의미를 도출한다. 저자는 예수의 세가지 주요 명령을 기반으로 한 신학적, 윤리적 틀을 기반으로 하여, 무슬림 이주민들과 관계하는데 있어서 필요한 세 가지 차원의 실용적인 접근 방식을 주장한다.
