본 연구는 중국 시각장애대학생의 학업적 자기효능감과 진로포부와의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상는 의도적 표집방법을 이용하여 중국 산둥성 빈저우시(滨州市)의 S대학에 재학 중인 120명의 시각장애대학생을 표집하였다. 조사도구는 선행연구에서 사용한 설문지를 수정·보완하고 중국어로 번역하여 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시각장애대학생의 학업적 자기효능감, 진로포부, 사회적 지지는 모두 보통보다 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 둘째, 시각장애대학생의 학업적 자기효능감은 사회적 지지에 영향을 미치고, 사회적 지지는 진로포부에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 시각장애대학생의 진로포부가 학업적 자기효능감에 미치는 영향에서 사회적 지자는 유의미한 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 시각장애대학생의 올바른 진로 포부 형성을 위한 지원방안을 제시할 수 있으며 대학에서 중국 시각장애인의 진로발달과 진로교육 과정 개선에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of social support on the relationship between academic self-efficacy and career aspirations among Chinese university students with visual impairments. The study included 120 visually disabled university students from Binzhou(滨州市) City, Shandong Province, China, were randomly sampleed. The survey instrument was adapted and improved from the questionnaire used in previous studies, and it was translated into Chinese for use in this research. The study yielded the following results: First, it was observed that visually impaired university students exhibited higher levels of academic self-efficacy, career aspirations, and social support compared to the norm. Second, the study revealed that academic self-efficacy among visually impaired university students positively influenced their social support, which in turn had a positive impact on their career aspirations. Third, social support was identified as a significant mediating factor in the relationship between career aspirations and academic self-efficacy among visually impaired university students. These research findings can provide valuable insights for developing support measures aimed at helping visually impaired university students formulate accurate career aspirations. It is expected that these measures will contribute positively to the career development and enhancement of career-related curricula for Chinese visually impaired university students.
