본 연구는 교양교육에서 실행할 수 있도록 구체적인 디지털 리터러시 교육과정을 탐색하고, 그 결과를 제시하는 것을 목표로 한다. 디지털 대전환의 시대에 대응하기 위한 대학 교양교육의 과제로 최근 디지털 리터러시 교육이 주목받고 있지만, 내실 있는 운영을 위해 교육을 실행하기에 앞서 대학 교양교육에서 디지털 리터러시 교육의 의미와 역할 그리고 교육과정 구성을 위한 구체적 논의가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 선행연구를 토대로 도출한 교양 디지털 리터러시 교육과정 초안에 관한 전문가의 의견을 종합하여 교양 디지털 리터러시 교육과정의 방향성을 목표, 내용, 교수학습방법 및 평가 측면에서 제시하였다. 첫째, 교육의 목표는 디지털 활용 방법 및 태도를 익히는 기초적 수준에서 고차적 사고와 문제해결을 요구하는 포괄적이고 심화된 수준까지 포괄하며, 단계별로 달성할 수 있도록 한다. 둘째, 교육은 위계성이 있는 나선형 교육과정으로, 복수의 교과목으로 개발할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 교수학습 방법은 학습자 중심적 교육방법을 도입하되 내용 영역에 따라 활동의 난이도와 평가 방법을 결정해야 한다. 마지막으로 이러한 결과를 반영하여 교양 디지털 리터러시 교육과정 탐색의 시사점을 논의하고, 후속 연구를 제언하였다.
This study aims to explore a digital literacy curriculum within the framework of a general education at the university level. While digital literacy education has recently garnered attention in university general education owing to the era of digital transformation, it is essential to discuss the meaning and role of digital literacy education concerning curriculum design before its practical implementation. Therefore, this study synthesized previous research and derived a draft digital literacy curriculum for general education. Six experts then reviewed this draft curriculum suggesting the direction of the digital literacy curriculum in terms of learning objectives, contents, teaching and learning methods, and evaluation. The results are as follows: First, the educational goals and objectives should encompass the basic skills of digital use and attitudes, ranging from foundational to comprehensive and in-depth levels that demand higher-order thinking and problem-solving. These goals should align with the learning stages. Second, a hierarchical and spiral curriculum should be developed across multiple classes. Third, teaching and learning methods must be learner-centered, and the difficulty of activities and evaluation methods should correspond with the content area. Finally, based on these findings, the authors discussed the implications of exploring a digital literacy curriculum and recommended issues and directions for further research.
