본 연구의 목적은 공주 소외지역 내 문화예술교육 공간 형성과정을 통한 리빙랩의 의미와 지속가능한 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이에 공주시에서 수행한 문화예술교육 리빙랩 공간 조성사업인 ‘마을예술창작소’의 사례를 분석하고자 선행연구를 통해 리빙랩의 개념을 파악하고, 사업 참여자를 대상으로 FGI를 진행하여 소외지역이 지닌 문화예술교육의 현안을 파악하고, 마을예술창작소 조성된 지역 내 문화예술교육 공간의 의미를 도출하였다. 그리고 리빙랩으로서의 공간의 지속성의 방안을 탐색하였다. 이에 마을예술창작소의 리빙랩 역할을 공간의 의미를 넘어 지역 특정성을 반영한 장소성의 의미를 형성하고, 문화예술교육의 선순환구조를 지속함으로써 지역 내 공동체적 문제를 문화예술교육으로 해결하는 지속가능성을 제기한 것에 연구의 의의가 있다
The purpose of this study is to find ways to maintain the continuity and meaning of the living lab space based on the process of forming a culture and arts education space in the region. Accordingly, a qualitative case study was conducted based on the case of the Village Art Creation Center, a project to create a living lab space for culture and arts education in Gongju-si. In addition, the concept of Living Lab was investigated based on prior research, and pending issues in culture and arts education in underprivileged areas were identified through in-depth surveys of project participants. Based on the project, the meaning of the local culture and arts education space was derived, and finally, we explored the sustainability plan reflecting the living lab characteristics of the space. This study is meaningful in that it aims to review the sustainability of space and solve community problems based on the case of establishing a living lab that establishes a circulatory system of culture and arts education through regional specificity.
