본 연구는 1922년에 출판된 『宗敎界諸名士講演集』에 나타난 하나님의 형상과 관련된 논점들을 분석하려는 데 목적을 두었다. 주요자료들로서 이기풍(李基豊), 김필수(金弼秀), 이만집(李萬集), 원익상(元翊常), 김창준(金昌俊), 이홍주(李泓周) 등이 저술한 여섯편의 설교문들을 중점적으로 고찰했다. 본 연구자는 이 여섯 편의 설교문들에 진술된 하나님의 형상과관련된 의미심장한 관점들을 다음과 같이 숙고했다. 첫째, 이기풍의 설교문 “新造의 人”에서는 ‘하나님의 형상’과 ‘새 사람’ 양자사이의 논리적 연계성을 다루었다. 둘째, 김필수의 설교문 “球上 無比의 紀念”에서는 ‘하나님의 형상’과 ‘성찬식’ 양자 사이의 논리적 연계성을 다루었다. 셋째, 이만집의 설교문 “第二國民의 養成”에서는 ‘하나님의 형상’과 ‘제2국민 영육(靈育)’ 양자 사이의논리적 연계성을 다루었다. 넷째, 원익상의 설교문 “사람의 本位” 에서는 ‘하나님의 형상’과 ‘성화의 과업’ 양자 사이의 논리적 연계성을 다루었다. 다섯째, 김창준의 설교문 “最大의 模範”에서는‘하나님의 형상’과 ‘그리스도의 모범’ 양자 사이의 논리적 연계성을 다루었다. 여섯째, 이홍주의 설교문 “良心의 威力”에서는 ‘하나님의 형상’과 ‘양심의 개혁’ 양자 사이의 논리적 연계성을 다루었다.
This paper aims to analyze arguments of the image of God in Sermons Collection by Prestigious Pastors and Teachers of Christian Group(1922), focusing on six sermons written by Gi-Pung Lee, Pil-Su Kim, Man-Jip Lee, Ik-Sang Won, Chang-Jun Kim, and Hong-Ju Lee. The author points out the prominent viewpoints of the image of God in these six sermons as follows. Firstly, the article treats with the logical relevance between ‘the image of God’ and ‘new man’ in Gi-Pung Lee’s “New Man”. Secondly, the article treats with the logical relevance between ‘the image of God’ and ‘the Christian eucharist’ in Pil-Su Kim’s “The Greatest Commemoration”. Thirdly, the article treats with the logical relevance between ‘the image of God’ and ‘spiritual education’ in Man-Jip Lee’s “Christian Spiritual Education for Christian Children”. Fourthly, the article treats with the logical relevance between ‘the image of God’ and ‘the tasks of sanctification’ in Ik-Sang Won’s “Human Responsibility”. Fifthly, the article treats with the logical relevance between ‘the image of God’ and ‘the example of Christ’ in Chang-Jun Kim’s “The Greatest Model”. Sixthly, the article treats with the logical relevance between ‘the image of God’ and ‘the reformation of conscience’ in Hong-Ju Lee’s “The Power of Conscience”.
