반려 동물에 의한 시체의 손상은 사망 원인과 사망시간 추정에 영향을 미칠 수 있어 이에 관한 연구의필요성이 제기되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 부산지역에서 반려동물에 의해 사후손상이 발생한 4 건의 변사사건을 분석함으로써 사후손상에 대한 이해와 정보를 제공하는 것이다. 1인 가구와 내재적 질병 그리고 반려동물이결합했을 때 사후 손상의 가능성이 있다고 판단되며, 이러한 사후손상의 원인으로 주인이 사망하면서 나타나는배고픔과 사망한 주인을 회복시키기 위해 핥거나 무는 행위가 주된 이유로 추정된다. 따라서 변사자의 사후 손상에 대한 원인을 파악하기 위해서는 주변 환경이나 반려동물 등 다양한 요인을 고려해야 할 것이다.
The postmortem animal scavenging damages by companion animal was to the dead bodies can affect the cause of death and the estimated time of death, thus leading to needs for further studies. In this study, the authors aims to analyze the cases of animal scavenging with post damages caused by pets in Busan and thus provide the understanding and information of post death damages on the victim. It is believed that current disease of single-person household and pets are combined to raise the possibility for postmortem damages. The possible cause of such damages is due to hunger after the death of owner and biting and licking by the pet to resurrect the owner. To assess the cause of post death damage to the victim, it is necessary to consider various factors such as neighboring environments, pets and so on.
