이 글은 코로나 팬데믹 상황에서의 세계화 담론을 논의한다. 코로나 이전의 세계화 상황에 대한 설명과 이후를 전망한다. 세계화에 관한 일반적인 양상을 정리하고 한국사회에서 진행된 세계화 담론의 변화를 신문기사 자료를 바탕으로 동시출현단어 방법을 활용하여 분석한다. 세계화가 과거와 같은 비중을 지닌 사회 질서의 중심축은 아니지만, 여전히 중요하게 작동하는 것만은 분명하다. 세계화의 축소냐 강화냐의 이분법을 넘어 세계화, 탈세계화, 재세계화가 영역과 층위에 따라 각기 다르게 출현하는 양상을 보인다는 점을 강조한다.
This article discusses the globalization discourse in the historical conjuncture of the COVID-19 Pandemic, including explaining the globalization trends before the pandemic and overlooking the trends after the pandemic. After reviewing general features of the globalization in the age of pandemic, this article analyzes the changes in discourse by the method of co-word analysis using Korean newspapers. Although globalization does not operate as a central axis of social order as in the past, it is clear that it still plays an important role. Beyond the dichotomous discussion, it is concluded that globalization, de-globalization, and re-globalization are emerging in different manners depending upon the domain and layer
