The background of Soga clan's risein the Early 6th Century

필자는 과거 소가씨의 흥기 요인에 대해 고찰한 바 있다. 구고에서 주로 언급한 내용은 소가씨의 씨족적 근원에 대해 갈성씨의 支族으로 보는 견해에 대한 비판적 인식을 피력하였으며 또한 소가씨의 흥기의 기본 동력으로서 소가씨의 職掌으로 생각되는 조정의 倉 즉 재정의 관리를 상정하고 이를 통해 급부상할 수 있었다는 점이었다. 본고에서는 이러한 점을 기본 토대로 하면서 당시의 주요 호족 세력과의 관계 특히 신왕조적 창업으로까지 평가받고 있는 계체천황 세력과의 관계에 대해 다시 한 번 생각해 보았다. 특히 주목되는 것이 尾張連氏이다. 미장련씨는 계체와의 혼인관계뿐만 아니라 갈성 지역과의 관계 기사도 남기고 있기 때문에 소가씨와의 관련성 속에서 당시 6세기 초반의 정치적 관계를 어느 정도 유추해 볼 수 있게 해주는 매우 중요한 씨족으로 생각된다. 소가씨는 미장련씨와의 각별한 관계 형성을 통해 계체천황의 시대에 정치적으로 부상할 수 있었다는 것이 필자의 생각이다.

In the past, I have considered the factors of Soga's rise. What was mainly mentioned in the old school was that I expressed a critical perception of Soga's clan origin as a member of Katsuragi, and Soga was able to emerge rapidly through financial management of the court, which was his job. Based on these points, this paper once again considered the relationship with the major clan forces of the time, especially with the Keitai Emperor's forces, which are evaluated as a new dynasty start-up. Particularly noteworthy is the Owari clan. The Owari clan is considered to be a very important clan that allows us to infer some of the political relations of the early 6th century in relation to the Soga clan because it shows not only the marriage relationship with Emperor Keitai but also with the Katsuragi area. I believe that Soga clan was able to rise politically in the era of Emperor Keitai through the formation of a special relationship with the Owari clan.
