본 연구는 작업치료사들을 대상으로 커뮤니티케어제도에 대한 인식과 역할에 대해 조사하였으며, 이를통해 커뮤니티케어 내 작업치료의 발전 방향을 모색하고자 하였다. 조사는 온라인을 활용한 비대면 설문방식으로 이루어졌으며, 서울・경기 지역 학회 및 커뮤니티 게시판을 통해 2022년 9월 1일부터 10월 30 일까지 진행되었다. 설문지는 일반적 특성, 커뮤니티케어 인식 및 요구도, 작업치료사 역할에 대한 29문항으로 구성되었으며, 최종적으로 조사에 참여한 대상자는 총 254명이었다. 연구결과, 대상자들은 관련자격증으로 심리・상담사, 사회복지사 자격증 취득률이 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 커뮤니티케어 제도 및역할에 대한 지식에 비하여 제도 및 교육, 재정적 지원에 대한 필요성은 높게 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 작업치료사 외에 팀접근에 가장 필요한 인력으로 사회복지사를 꼽았으며, 유관기관으로는 복지관을 선택하였다. 커뮤니티케어 내 작업치료사의 역할로는 일상생활훈련, 가정재활 프로그램 및 환경수정, 기관관리 및 모니터링 등을 중요하게 인식하는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 관련 교육을 이수한 대상자들이커뮤니티케어에 대하여 더 긍정적으로 인식하는 것으로 나타났다(p<.01). 본 연구 결과를 통해 작업치료사들의 커뮤니티케어 제도에 대한 인식과 현장에서요구하는 업무상 역할을 확인할 수 있었으며, 관련교육 이수가 제도 인식과 업무 역량에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것이 검증되었다. 이를 바탕으로 향후 커뮤니티케어 제도 내 작업치료 서비스 활성화를 위한근거 자료로 유용하게 활용되기를 기대한다.
This study investigated occupational therapists' awareness of and role in the community care system, and through this, sought the development direction of occupational therapy within community care. The survey was conducted through a non-face-to-face survey method using online, and was conducted from September 1 to October 30, 2022 through local societies and community bulletin boards in Seoul and Gyeonggi. The questionnaire consisted of 29 questions on general characteristics, awareness and demand for community care, and the role of occupational therapists. A total of 254 subjects participated in the final survey. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that the subjects had a high rate of acquiring psychology/counselor and social worker licenses as related qualifications. It was found that the subjects were highly aware of the need for system, education, and financial support compared to the knowledge of the community care system and role. In addition to occupational therapists, social workers were selected as the most necessary specialist for team approach, and welfare centers were selected as related institutions. As for the role of occupational therapists in community care, daily living activity training, home rehabilitation program and environmental modification, and institutional management and monitoring were recognized as important. In addition, it was found that subjects who completed related education perceived community care more positively (p<.01). Through the results of this study, it was possible to confirm occupational therapists' awareness of the community care system and the work roles required in the field, and it was verified that completion of related training had a significant effect on system awareness and work competency. Based on this, it is expected that it will be usefully used as evidence for the activation of occupational therapy services within the community care system in the future.
