이 연구는 문법교육에서 국어 의식을 체계적으로 개념화하고 국어 의식에 관한교육 내용을 비판적으로 고찰하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 먼저 국어 의식에 관한기존 연구를 종합하여, 국어 의식의 개념이 언어 인식과 관련하여 편중되어 있음을확인하였다. 이를 극복하기 위해 국어교육에서 ‘국어’의 중층성을 상기하고 ‘의식’의개념적 근원을 탐색하였다. 이를 토대로 국어 의식을 탐구적 태도, 인식적 태도, 가치적 태도로 범주화하고 각 개념 요소를 설정하였다. 다음으로 2022 교육과정에서국어 의식에 관한 교육 내용을 비판적으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 내용 체계에서는국어 의식이 핵심 아이디어에서 명시되었으나, 언어 인식 중심으로만 내용 요소가제시되어 있었다. 성취기준에서는 문법 영역의 가치･태도에 관한 국어 의식 교육내용이 지식･이해 범주와 주로 연계되어 선언적 교육에 그칠 우려가 있었다. 그럼에도국어 의식의 가치적 태도 교육이 국어 활동의 언어문화 관련 내용으로 구성될 가능성도 확인하였다.
The purpose of this study is to conceptualize Korean language consciousness and to consider Korean language consciousness related educational contents critically. To accomplish this purpose, the concept of Korean language consciou sness is biased to studies of the language awareness was identified by piecing the existing studies about Korean language consciousness together. To overcom e this bias phenomenon, this study recalls the multi-layered features of the “Kore an language”, and investigates conceptual roots of the “Consciousness” in Korea n language education. On a basis of this works, Korean language consciousness is categorized into three dimensions, “attitude of inquiry, attitude of awareness, attitude of value”, and the conceptual elements at each category are established. And then, this study critically analyzes Korean consciousness related educational contents in 2022 curriculum. As a result, Korean language consciousness is state d clearly in the key idea, the contents elements are leaned towards the language awareness in the contents system of 2022 curriculum. In achievement standards of 2022 curriculum, it is feared that Korean language consciousness education could be just declaring education because the educational contents of Korean language consciousness, which are related to the value･attitude in grammar domain, are mostly connected to knowledge･understanding category of those domain. Nevertheless, a possibility is found that the valuable attitude education of Korean language consciousness could be constructed by the contents related to language-culture of Korean language use.
