본 연구는 디지털 네이티브의 삶과 시민성에 관한 분석을 바탕으로 디지털 시민성을 함양하기 위한 초등도덕과교육의 방향을 고찰한다. 디지털 세계와 항시 연결된 현재의 삶의 모습을 볼 때, 초등도덕과의 디지털 시민교육 목표는 아동이 자신의 삶의 주체로서 디지털 미디어 생활을 건전하게 향유할 수 있는 자아 역량을 강화하는 것이어야 한다. 초등 도덕과 교육과정에서 디지털 시민성의 정서 능력을 다루고 있으므로 인지, 정서, 행동의 고른 발달을 위한 내용을 보완해야 하며 비판적 대화를 통해 올바른 식견을 지닌 책임 있는 시민의 참여를 장려해야 한다.
We explore that the direction to cultivate digital citizenship for the subject of moral in elementary school, based on the analysis of the life and citizenship of the digital native. Given the current life that is always connected to the digital world, the goal of digital civic education in elementary school should be to strengthen the self-competency of children to enjoy digital life healthy as the subject of their lives. Since the curriculum of moral subject in elementary school deals with the content of digital citizenship related to emotional ability, it should supplement the content for the even development of cognition, emotion, and behavior, and ensure the participation of responsible citizens with correct insight through critical dialogue.
