본 연구의 목적은 수도권 A 연구중심대학 교육학과 사례를 통해 팀플, 토의 중심 비대면 수업 방식이 가지고 있는 강점과 한계, 이를 초래한 영향요인들을 심층적으로 탐색해 봄으로써, 포스트 코로나 시대의 효과적 수업 운영을 위한 시사점을 도출하는데 있다. 이를 위해 A 대학교 교육학과 학부생 16명과 3명의 교수들을 대상으로 반구조화된 면담을 시행하여 자료를 수집하였다. 연구 결과 팀플, 토의 중심 수업에서 비대면 방식은 강의 전달방식의 다양화로 새로운 학습효과 창출, 교수‧학습활동의 편의성 및 효과성 증대, 수평화된 강의 환경 구현 등에서 강점(새로운 가능성)을 보여주었다. 반면 학습의 실재감 하락, 자기주도적 학습능력이 낮은 경우 학습 참여도 저하, 소통의 기회 감소로 라포 형성의 어려움, 강의 형태의 획일화 등과 같은 비대면 수업의 한계도 나타났다. 이러한 강점과 한계에 영향을 미친 요인은 학습자의 학습동기와 태도, 교수자의 관심과 열의, 교육학의 학문적 특성과 연구중심대학이라는 조직적 특성, 정부와 대학 본부의 비대면 수업의 질 관리를 위한 관심과 적절한 개입, 에듀테크의 급속한 발전 등으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 포스트 코로나 시대의 효과적 수업 운영방안 도출을 위한 몇 가지 고려 사항들을 제언으로 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study is to derive policy implications for effective class management in the post COVID era by exploring the strengths and limitations of team project and discussion-oriented online teaching methods, through the case of the Department of Education at research-centered A University in the Seoul metropolitan area. To this end, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 16 undergraduate students and 3 professors of the Department of Education at University A. As a result of the study, online classes showed strengths (new possibilities) in creating new learning effects, increasing convenience and effectiveness of teaching‧learning activities, and implementing a horizontal lecture environment in team and discussion-oriented classes. On the other hand, decreased reality of learning, decreased participation in learning when self-directed learning ability is low, difficulty of forming a rapport due to a decrease in communication opportunities, and the uniformization of lecture forms were identified as limitations of online classes. The factors that influenced these strengths and limitations were learners' motivation and attitude, instructors' interest and enthusiasm, academic characteristics of pedagogy and research-oriented university, government and university headquarters' interest in managing the quality of online classes, and rapid development of Edutech. Based on the results of this analysis, several considerations for deriving an effective class operation plan in the post COVID era were suggested.
