목적 본 연구는 PASS-BAR를 활용한 인수인계교육이 간호대학생의 인수인계 수행능력, 학습자기효능감, 전공몰입, 의사소통불안에 미치는 효과를 검증하기 위해 시도되었다. 방법 충남의 4년제 A대학교 간호학과 2학년에 재학 중인 학생 66명을 대상으로 4가지 임상 사례 시나리오 기반의 PASS-BAR를활용한 인수인계교육을 제공한 후 사전-사후 관련 변인 측정값의 변화를 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0 program(IBM)을활용하여 다음과 같이 분석하였다. 첫째, 사용된 척도의 신뢰도 값은 각 척도 별로 Cronbach’s α 값을 산출하였다. 둘째, 인수인계수행능력, 학습자기효능감, 전공몰입 및 의사소통불안은 기술통계를 활용하여 평균과 표준편차를 산출하였다. 셋째, 연구가설 검증을 위해 먼저 사전, 사후 점수에 대해 Kolmogorov-Smirnov test를 이용하여 정규성을 검토 한 후 Paired t-test를 이용하여 효과성을 검증하였다. 결과 PASS-BAR를 활용한 인수인계 교육 후 연구대상자의 인수인계 수행능력은 사전 21.38±0.65, 사후 43.11±1.30으로 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었고(t=-119.808, p<.001), 학습자기효능감은 사전 3.77±0.41, 사후 4.52±0.47으로 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었다(t=-10.076, p<.001). 전공몰입은 4.25±0.55, 사후 4.47±0.59으로 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었고(t=2.320, p<.05), 의사소통불안은 사전 3.04±0.54, 사후 2.97±0.70으로 감소되었으나, 이는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다(t=1.108 p>.05). 결론 PASS-BAR를 활용한 인수인계교육은 학부 교육과정에서 활용 가능한 효과적인 교육전략으로 확인되었으며, 간호대학생의인수인계 수행능력, 학습자기효능감, 전공몰입을 향상시킴으로써 궁극적으로 임상현장에서 환자안전을 도모하고 간호의 질을 향상시키는데 실제적인 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
Objectives The purpose of this study was to identify effects of hand-over education using PASS-BAR on handover performance competency, learning self-effectiveness, major commitment, and communication apprehension of nursing students. Methods The experimental group received hand-over education using PASS-BAR which consisted of lecture and 4 scenario based clinical practicum. Handover performance competency, learning self-effectiveness, major commitment, and communication apprehensione were measured before and after education. Data were analyzed using paired t-test by SPSS 25.0 program(IBM). Results The experimental group showed significant improvement in handover performance competency(t=-119.808, p<.001), learning self-effectiveness(t=-10.076, p<.001), major commitment(t=2.320, p<.05). But, communication apprehension of nursing students has not significantly different(t=1.108 p>.05). Conclusions The results indicate that hand-over education using PASS-BAR is effective in improving handover performance competency, learning self-effectiveness, major commitment by nursing students. Thus, it is suggested to be used to develop and provide various hand-over education for nursing students.
