선교의 본질적 과제 혹은 정체성인 ‘복음전도’가 혼란과 혼돈 그리고 갈등을 유발하는 것처럼 이용당하고 있다. IMC가 WCC로 통합되면서 시작된 양 진영의 대립은 복음주의 선교의 본질적 과제인 ‘복음전도’를 ‘사회・정치적 책임’으로 확대하면서, ‘복음전도의 우선권’을 선교의 논쟁거리로 만들었다. 혼란과 혼돈에 빠진 복음주의 선교의 과제와 방향을 재정립하고자 한다. 1. 복음주의 선교는 혼란과 혼돈이 선교의 과제, 즉 선교사역 유형 결정에 있음을 지속적으로 제시하나, 에큐메니컬 선교는 세계를 향하여 새로운 주제들을 발굴하고 연구하며 대안적 제시를 함으로써 세계선교의 주체로 나아가고 있다. 2. 복음주의 선교는 선교의 본질적 이해로 본 우선권이 선교의 유형 확대로 인한 혼란과 혼돈임을 인지하고 선교의 정체성을 정립해야 한다. 3. 복음주의 선교는 ‘하나님의 선교’, ‘선교적 교회론’ 그리고 ‘통전적 선교’의 에큐메니컬적 선교 이해와 접근으로 만들어진 개념을 복음주의 선교로 착각하고 오해하여 ‘복음전도’의 절대성을 잃어 버렸다. 그러므로 로잔대회는 복음주의 선교가 직면한 과제와 방향을 직면하고, 왜 4차 대회가 필요한가를 살펴보아야 한다.
As the social and political responsibility was enlarged in evangelism, the priority of evangelism caused arguments about the mission when the identity and the duty of Evangelism were regarded as confusion and conflict after the unification of IMC and WCC. This study is to redefine the task and the identity of evangelism. 1. The problem of the Evangelism mission is to divide the type of missionary work, but the ecumenical mission suggests alternatives and gives new projects with studies. 2. To establish the identity of evangelism, it is necessary to know that the confusion about the priority of evangelism is not caused by the expansion of the mission types. 3. Evangelical mission has lost its absoluteness of evangelism by misunderstanding the concepts of God’s mission and missional church. Therefore, the 4th Lausanne Congress needs to revise the concept and confusion of the evangelism mission.
