이 논문은 포스트코로나 시대 미･중 전략적 경쟁영역이 기후변화의 환경안보, 그리고 코로나와 백신의 보건안보로 확대되었다면 그러한 경쟁은 본질적으로 왜 일어났는지를 분석한다. 주장은 신흥안보 영역에서의 체제 경쟁과 외교 경쟁때문이다. 이 논문에서는 이를 이론적으로 검토한 후, 미･중 신흥안보 전략적 경쟁을 설명하기 위해 환경안보와 보건안보 사례를 살펴볼 것이다. 결론적으로 이 연구의 주장은 미･중 신흥안보 전략적 경쟁이 촉발되고 격화된 근본적인 원인은 이러한 영역에서의 체제 경쟁이 근본에 깔려있기 때문이라는 사실을 증명할 것이다.
This paper analyzes why US-China strategic competition essentially occurred if the strategic competition area between the US and China in the post-corona era was expanded to environmental security of climate change and health security of corona virus and vaccines. This paper argues that US-China regime competition and diplomatic competition in the emerging security field begin to take place. In this paper, after theoretically examining this, we will analyze environmental security and health security cases to explain the strategic competition in emerging security issues between the US and China. In conclusion, this study argues that the regime competition in these two areas is the root cause of the initiation and intensification of the strategic competition for emerging security between the US and China.
