본고에서 다루고자 하는 핵심 논제는 다문화적 상황의 급격한 증가가 가져오고 있는 문화 간 접촉의 상황에서 개인은 물론 조직들은 어떻게 성숙한 대처를 해나갈 수 있는가에 대한 것이다. 그 해결의 단초를 유럽연합의 상호문화학습 설계도에서 찾아보고자 한다. 가장 심각하게 그러한 현실을 인식하며 해결책을 모색하고 있는 유럽연합의 고심은 비슷한 상황에 처한 모두에게 의미있는 시사점을 주고 있어 보이기 때문이다. 학교에서부터 기업과 같은 조직은 물론 공공기관들도 다문화적 상황은 앞으로 점점 피할 수 없는 과제가 될 것이다. 조직 내 상황강도 중 다문화적 상황 역시 앞으로 계속해서 하나의 변수로 주시되고 연구되어져야 할 것으로 보인다. 조직 내 구성원들은 문화적 배경이 다른 동료들에 대한 차이 인식을 넘어 성숙된 상호문화 간 연대가 가능한 상호문화능력이 점점 더 필요해질 것이다. 그 출발점을 유럽연합은 오랜 설계를 통해 상호문화적 자기효능감에서 찾고 있으며 본고에서 다루게 될 다섯 가지 중요한 학습 요소들을 유기적으로 연계시켜 제시하고 있다. 관점, 감수성, 정체성, 컨텍스트, 통찰이 그것이다. 본고에서는 이 다섯 가지에 대해 하나씩 순차적으로 고찰해 보고자 한다. 그리고 다문화적 상황의 성숙한 대응을 위해 어떤 역할과 의미가 있는지를 숙고해 보고자 한다.
The key topic to be dealt with in this paper is how individuals and organizations can mature coping in the situation of intercultural contact brought about by the rapid increase in multicultural situations. The starting point of the solution is to be found in the European Union's plan for intercultural learning. This is because the European Union's efforts to find a solution, recognizing such a reality most seriously, seem to have meaningful implications for everyone in a similar situation. From schools to organizations such as corporations, as well as public institutions, the multicultural situation will become increasingly unavoidable in the future. It seems that the multicultural situation among the situation strength within the organization should also be continuously looked at and studied as a variable in the future. The members of the organization will increasingly need intercultural competences that enable solidarity between mature interculturality beyond recognition of differences between colleagues from different cultural backgrounds. The European Union is looking for its starting point in intercultural self-efficacy through a long-standing design, and presents the five important learning factors that will be dealt with in this paper in an organic way. They are perspective, sensitivity, identity, context, and insight. In this paper, we will consider these five items one by one in sequence. And we would like to consider what role and meaning it has for a mature response to a multicultural situation.
