본 연구는 독서치료사의 성장에 나타난 상상력을 주제로 한 협력적자문화기술지이다. 본 연구에서는 그림책과 문학 텍스트를 매개로 한 연구자의 상상력, 성장과 맥락의 사회적 의미를 기술하고 이를 근거로 독서치료사들의 상상력을 강화할 수 있는 제언을 하고자 하는 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 주자료는 성찰 자료, 기억 자료, 일기와 개인 메모, 상호면담을 활용하였다. 자료분석은 Saldaña(2021)가 제시한 가치코딩(value coding)과 종단코딩(longitudinal coding)을 순차적으로 진행하였다. 협력적자문화기술지는 기술적-사실적 글쓰기(descriptive-realistic writing), 고백적-감상적 글쓰기(confessional-emotive writing), 분석적-해석적 글쓰기(analytical-interpretive writing)를 혼용하여 기술하였다. 종단코딩을 통해 나타난 주제는 다음과 같다. 삼총사에 묻힌 나의 인어공주, 회색지대의 우울한 초상에 생명력을 준 상상력, 질풍노도보다는 순응하며 말라비틀어진 초목 같은 사춘기, 기적처럼 다가온 옆집 운동권 대학생 오빠, 꿈은 사라지고 남은 것은 노름꾼 마누라라는 불낙인, 스스로 만든 날개옷을 입고 두 딸과 낙원으로 향하는 꿈, 정령의 속삭임과도 같은「그림책 그림읽기」와의 만남과 대학원 진학, ‘피리 부는 사나이’ 대학 총장님이 전해 준 가능성의 메시지, 변방에서 온 이방인이 해를 품다로 제시하였다. 연구결과에 근거하여 상상력의 중요성, 남성 중심적 언어를 재구성하고 새로운 여성의 이해를 위한 다시 쓰기와 함께 리쾨르(Ricœur)(2016)가 제시한 이야기를 통한 자신의 새로운 정체성에 대한 구성 등을 논의하였다.
This study is a cooperative autoethnography with the theme of imagination revealed in the growth of the bibliotherapist. The purpose of this study is to describe the social meaning of the researcher’s imagination, growth, and context using picture books and literary texts as a medium, and to make suggestions on strengthening the imagination of the bibliotherapist based on this. This study’s main data were memory, reflection, diary, personal memos, and mutual interviews. Data analysis was conducted by proceeding sequentially with value coding and longitudinal coding suggested by Saldaña(2021). The cooperative autoethnography was written using crisscrossing and descriptive-realistic writing, confessional-emotive writing, and analytical-interpretive writing. The themes revealed through longitudinal coding are as follows: “my little mermaid buried in the three musketeers, an imagination that gave life to a gloomy portrait in a gray area, puberty period is like withered trees and plants rather than the Sturm and Drang, the next door college student activist who approached like a miracle, a disappearing dream leaving the stigma of a gambler’s life, the dream of going to paradise with two daughters wearing self-made winged clothes, an encounter with ‘reading pictures in picture books’ like the whispers of a nymph and going to graduate school, a message of possibility from the university president ‘the piping man’, and a stranger from the outskirts embraces the sun.” Based on the research results, the composition of a new identity through the story presented by Ricœur(2016), along with rewriting for a new understanding of women, were discussed while dissolving the importance of imagination and the male-centered language.
