연구 목적: 이 연구는 영유아 교육현장에서의 디지털 교수매체 활용현황과 유아교사의 인식을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 방법: 이를 위하여 광주전남 지역 유치원과 어린이집 교사 214명의 설문결과를 분석하였다. 연구 내용: 첫째, 유치원과 어린이집 모두 그림자료와 음원자료를 많이 하였고, 연령이 높아질수록 PPT를 많이 활용하였다. 그리고 대집단활동, 안전교육을 위해 디지털 교수매체를 많이 활용하였다. 둘째, 영유아교사는 디지털 교수매체의 활용이 수업의 질적수준 향상에 도움을 준다고 인식하였다. AR, VR, 로봇과 스마트 토이는 현재 수업에서 불필요한 교수매체이지만, 향후 적용해볼 만한 매체로 인식하였다. 결론 및 제언: 연구결과는 개정누리과정과 연계한 교육콘텐츠 개발과 교사교육, 인프라 구축 등 효과적인 디지털 교수매체 활용을 위한 지원방안을 제안한다.
The aim of this study is to investigate the current use of digital instructional media and teachers’ perceptions in early childhood education settings. To this end, a questionnaire survey was administered on 214 kindergarten and childcare center teachers in Gwangju-Jeonnam area. As a result, both kindergarten and childcare center teachers commonly used pictures and audio materials, but the use of PPT increased with advancing age of children. On the other hand, early childhood teachers generally perceived that the use of digital media helps improve the quality of learning. The participants mentioned that AR, VR, robots, and smart toys are currently unnecessary in class, but they also mentioned that these same media are potentially worth trying out in class. We suggest implementing various measures to support the use of digital instructional media, such as developing a standard childcare curriculum, developing educational contents linked to the 2019 update of the Nuri curriculum.
