연구 목적: 본 연구는 광주지역의 역사적 인물인 송준영과 박금자를 중심으로 광주 현대 무용사의 변천과정과 작품세계를 조사하여 기록하고자 하였다. 연구 방법: 본 연구는 1920년에서 2020년까지 현대사의 송준영과 박금자가 활동하였던 공연작품, 장소, 활동사항 등을 연표를 활용하여 기록하였다. 방법은 문헌학과 구술자료를 중심으로 자료 발굴, 수집, 정리, 해석하였다. 연구 내용: 변천과정과 작품세계는 시대적 사실에 근거하여 송준영과 박금자의 무용수, 안무가, 교육자 측면에서 인터뷰를 통하여 연표별로 기록하였다. 결론 및 제언: 본 연구를 통하여 광주 무용의 역사적 가치를 보전하고, 역사적 문화가치의 고유성과 보편성을 지키기 위한 역할과 실천 방안을 제시하였다. 아시아문화중심의 도시 광주시가 무용으로 형상화하여 지역의 특색 있는 문화와 콘텐츠를 세계인에게 전달할 수 있는 광주 무용의 생태계가 조성되길 기대하였다.
The purpose of this study is to investigate and record the transition process and the world of modern dance history in Gwangju, focusing on the historical figures of Gwangju, Song Jun-young and Park Geum-ja. In this study, the performances, locations, and activities performed by Song Jun-young and Park Geum-ja from 1920 to 2020 were recorded using a chronological table. The research method was to discover, collect, organize, and interpret the data, focusing on philology and oral material. Based on the facts of the times, the transition process and the world of work were recorded by chronological table through interviews with the dancers, choreographers, and educators of Song Jun-young and Park Geum-ja. Through this study, the role and action plan for preserving the historical value of Gwangju dance and protecting the uniqueness and universality of historical and cultural values were presented. It was expected that the city of Gwangju, a city centered on Asian culture, would form an ecosystem of Gwangju dance that could convey the unique culture and contents of the region to the world through dance.
