커먼즈 혹은 공통적인 것이 네오오페라이스모의 중심 개념 중 하나임에도 불구하고 한국 커먼즈 연구 지형에서 이들의 작업은 거의 주목받지 못하고 있다. 이는 네오오페라이스모 이론에서 커먼즈 연구가 주제적으로 혹은 그 자체로 이루어지기보다 현대자본주의 분석의 맥락에 함축되어 있기 때문인 것으로 보인다. 이런 사정을 배경으로 본 논문은 다음 세 가지 과제를 수행한다. 1) 지금까지 인지자본주의, 비물질노동, 가치법칙의 위기, 이윤의 지대화 등의 논점들을 중심으로 논의되어 온 네오오페라이스모 현대자본주의론이 커먼즈론으로 독해될 수 있음을 보이는 것, 2) 이들의 이론을 커먼즈론으로 독해할 때 다른 커먼즈론과 대비해서 그것이 갖는 특징을 규명하는 것, 3) 그러한 특징을 갖는 이들의 커먼즈론이 커먼즈 연구 및 실천에 제안하는 바 혹은 공헌하는 바가 무엇인지를 드러내는 것. 이 세 과제는 공히 ‘자본의 코뮤니즘’이라는 역설적 개념에 집약되어있는 네오오페라이스모 현대자본주의론의 핵심을 전제하는바, 그 핵심이란 오늘날 자본의 생산과 축적이 커먼즈 혹은 공통적인 것을 중심으로 한다는 것이다. 이런 의미에서 이들의 커먼즈론은 현대자본주의론의 이면으로 존재하며 반대로 현대자본주의론은 뒤집힌 커먼즈론이라 할 수 있다.
Although commons or the common is one of the key concepts of neo-operaismo, their works have received little attention in the Korean commons research field. This seems to be because, in neo-operaismo theory, the commons study is implied in the context of contemporary capitalism analysis rather than carried out thematically. Against this background, this thesis carries out the following three tasks. 1) Showing that neo-operaismo contemporary capitalism study, which has been discussed centered on issues such as cognitive capitalism, immaterial labor, crisis of the law of value, and becoming-rent of profit, can be read as a commons theory, 2) identifying its distinctive features compared with other commons theories, 3) revealing what neo-opraismo commons theory suggests or contributes to commons research and practice. These three tasks all presuppose the core of neo-operaismo contemporary capitalism analysis, which is concentrated in the paradoxical concept of 'communism of capital'. The point is that the production and accumulation of capital today revolves around commons or the common. In this sense, neo-operaismo capitalism theory can be regarded as a reversed commons theory, and vice versa.
