AB - This study aimed to elucidate the process of enshrining Kyuam Song In-su at Gyulim Seowon and its educational significance. As a result of the study, Kyuam Song in-su's appointment and resignation as Jeju governor and the resulting exile in Sacheon were all the result of criticizing Kim An-ro(金安老). Also, through enshrining Song In-su, it was confirmed that he was not only respected by the descendants of the EunJin-Song family. After Song In-su was enshrined in the Seowon, the state officially recognized Gyulim Seowon. Also, in terms of the history of education in Jeju, by enshrining Song In-su in the Seowon, he took on the role of the spiritual teacher of Jeju Yurim.
