조선 전기 문인 姜希孟이 시가 창작 방면에서 蘇軾의 시문과 그의 삶을 어떻게 수용했는지 살펴본 결과, 다음과 같은 사실을 확인할 수 있었다. 첫째, 강희맹은 자신의 시에 소식의 어구를 상당히 많이 차용했다. 둘째, 강희맹은 자신의 시에 소식과 관련된 고사도 종종 활용했다. 셋째, 강희맹은 和蘇詩도 상당히 많이 지었다. 이상과 같은 사실을 통해 강희맹이 평소 소식의 시를 즐겨 읽었을 뿐 아니라 소식의 시를 적극적으로 학습하기도 하여, 그것을 다양한 방식으로 자신의 시가 창작에 활용했음을 알 수 있다. 강희맹이 이렇게 소식의 시를 즐겨 읽고 또 적극적으로 학습한 이유로는 조선 전기 문단 전체에 소식의 시문을 학습하는 분위기가 조성되어 있었다는 점, 강희맹이 평소 소식의 영향을 많이 받았던 서거정과 문학적 교유가 두터웠다는 점 등을 들 수 있다. 그러나 보다 근본적인 이유는 강희맹 스스로가 소식의 시와 그의 삶에 깊이 공감했기 때문일 것이다. 조선 전기의 대표적인 문인이라 할 수 있는 강희맹의 소식 수용 양상은 조선 전기 문인들의 소식에 대한 관점이 어떠했는지와 그들이 소식의 시를 어떻게 학습하고 활용했는지를 보여주는 좋은 예라 할 수 있다. 그리고 강희맹의 위상을 감안해 볼 때, 그의 적극적인 소식 수용은 동시대 및 후대 문인들로 하여금 소식을 흠모하고 소식 시문을 더욱 적극적으로 학습하게 하는 데에도 적지 않은 영향을 미쳤을 것으로 보인다.
As a result of studying how Kang Huimaeng(姜希孟) accepted Su Shi(蘇軾)’s poetry and his life in terms of the creation of poems, I found the following facts. Firstly, Kang Huimaeng often quoted Su Shi’s poetic words and phrases to the letter or by metamorphosing into his own poems. Secondly, he also mentioned Su Shi’s episodes in his own poems. Thirdly, he wrote a lot of responding poems to Su Shi’s(和蘇詩). Through these facts, we can know that Kang Huimaeng not only enjoyed reading Su Shi’s poems, but also actively learned his poems, and he used them to create his own poems in various ways. There can be some reasons why Kang Huimaeng enjoyed reading Su Shi’s poems and actively learned his poetry. Firstly, there was an atmosphere to learn Su Shi’s poetry throughout the entire literary circles in the early Joseon Dynasty. Secondly, Kang Huimaeng had a strong literary relationship with Seo Geojeong(徐居正) who was greatly influenced by Su Shi. But most fundamental reason may be that he himself deeply sympathized with Su Shi’s poetry and his life. Kang Huimaeng was a representative literary figure of the early Joseon Dynasty, so we can say that his acceptance of Su Shi is a good example of what the literary perspective of the early Joseon Dynasty on Su Shi were like and how they learned and utilized Su Shi’s poems. And considering Kang Huimaeng’s status in the early Joseon Dynasty, his active acceptance of Su Shi seems to have had a significant impact on contemporary and later writers’ admiring Su Shi and learning his poetry more actively.
