본 연구에서는 유아의 음악 만들기를 통해 나타나는 유아들의 창조적이고 자발적인 경험을 분석하고 유아들이 음악적 주체가 되어가는 과정을 Deleuze의 음악 철학에 기초하여 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구 참여자는 D시에 위치한 B어린이집 만 5세 열매반 총 16명의 유아였다. 연구기간은 2021년 1월부터 8월까지 약 8개월간 일주일에 1～2회, 자유놀이 시간을 활용하여 참여관찰을 진행하였다. 연구 자료는 총 40회의 참여 관찰하여 기록한 동영상및 녹음자료, 사진 자료, 유아면담자료, 교사면담자료, 교사관찰일지, 연구자 일지 등을 통해수집하였으며, 이를 전사하고 분석하여 결과를 도출하였다. 열매반 유아의 음악 만들기에서나타난 음악적 주체 되어가기는 다양한 음악적 기호와 마주침으로부터 나타났고 또래, 교사, 물질 등 다양한 대상과 관계를 맺으며 지속적인 반복을 통해 나타났다. 반복과 반복을 통해생성된 차이를 발견한 유아들은 리듬악기 및 선율악기 연주를 더해가며 풍성한 소리를 만들었고 신체 및 물질로부터 체화하고 표현하며 음악적 주체가 되어가는 창조적인 경험을 하였다. 본 연구는 유아음악교육에서 음악 만들기의 창조성에 집중하고 철학적 사유에 근거하여음악 활동을 바라보아야 하는 데 중요한 의미를 지닌다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the creative and spontaneous experiences of young children through music making and to examine the process of young children becoming musical subjects based on Deleuze's music philosophy. The study participants comprised 16 children in the 5-year-old Fruit class at B Daycare Center located in D City. During the study period from January to August 2021, participatory observation using free play time was conducted 1-2 times a week for about 8 months. The research data included video and recorded data, photographic data, infant interview data, teacher interview data, teacher observation logs, and the researcher's journal. These data were obtained by participating in 40 observations sessions and were transcribed and analyzed to derive the results. Becoming a musical subject in the music making of children in the Fruit class was reflected in the encounters with various musical signs and through continuous repetition, forming relationships with various objects, such as peers, teachers, and materials. The children who discovered the differences created through repetition made rich sounds by adding rhythm and melodic instruments and had a creative experience of becoming musical subjects by expressing their feelings using their bodies and available material. This study is significant as it focuses on the creativity involved in music making in early childhood music education and evaluates music activities based on philosophical thinking.
