본고에서는 서사 분석을 통해 주제어를 설정하여 고전 원전에 대한 대중의 관심을 환기하고 향유 동기를 유발하는 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 이는 서사 분석과 주제어 설정이 고전의 재미를 설득하는 데 유용한 전략이 될 수 있다는 것을 전제로 한다. 서사 분석을 통해 서사가 다루고 있는 관계의 특성과 당면해 있는 삶의 문제, 감당하는 방식 등을 드러내어 서사에 대한 현재적 관심을 확보하고자 하였다. 서사의세 가지 구성 요소인 구조, 화소, 행위자의 특성을 통해 작품이 어떤 인간과 삶의 문제를 다루고 있는가를 포착해본 것이다. 이를 통해 고전소설의 서사가 오늘날에도재미와 흥미를 유발할 수 있는 가능성을 보였다는 점에서 새로운 독법에 대한 제안이 될 수 있다고 본다. 본고에서는 이를 서사의 핵심과 의미를 함축하는 구문형 주제어로 구성하였다. 이는 웹소설의 태그와 구독형 OTT 서비스 넷플릭스의 마이크로 장르 활용 사례를참고한 것이다. 본고에서 설정하는 주제어의 특징은 함축성, 명료성, 직관성, 보편성, 공유 가능성 등으로 정리해볼 수 있다. 본고에서는 <춘향전>의 서사를 분석하여 설정한 구문형 주제어가 현대 웹소설 <울어 봐, 빌어도 좋고>에도 나타난다는 것을 확인하고, 이러한 서사적 상관성을기반으로 하여 두 작품을 잇는 연결 통로를 마련하였다. 이는 현대 웹소설에서 고전소설로 이어지는 서사적 경로를 구축하여 웹소설 독자층의 유입을 유도하고자 한것이다. 이러한 시도는 고전소설에 담긴 서사적 의미를 재맥락화하여 오늘날의 독자에게 호소력을 갖게 한다는 점에서 고전소설 큐레이션의 일환이 될 수 있다고 보았다.
This study aims to induce public interest and motivation for enjoyingclassic novels. As a way for classic novels to be approached popularly, thesubject keyword setting derived through narrative analysis is presented. Thiskeyword shows the connection between the problems of modern life andclassic novels. Readers can reflect on their current lives through novels. Through narrative analysis, it is possible to identify human relationships,life problems, and ways in which novels deal with them, which connectsfiction with real life. Based on this, a syntactic subject word was establishedthat implies the core and meaning of the narrative. The Keywords wererefers to the ‘tag of web novels’ and the ‘genre setting of OTT serviceNetflix’. In addition, the subject words were set with implications, clarity,intuition, universality, and sharing suitability in mind. Based on this, asyntactic subject keyword was established that implies the core and meaningof the narrative. As a result of applying the narrative analysis-based keyword setting to theclassic novel <Chun-Hyang Jeon> and the web novel <Cry, begging is fine, too>, narrative correlation was derived in the two works. Based on this, thereader can read the two works in the same context. In other words, annarrative path is created between classical novel and modern web novels,allowing readers of web novels to flow into classical novels. This attemptcan be said to be part of classic novel curation in that it aims to analyze thenarrative of classic novels and classify works through narrative homogeneityand provide them to users.
