본 연구는 협상팀 간의 상호 양립 가능한 이해관계를 고려하여, 안정그룹 애착이라는 심리적 변인이 해당 변인을 통해 협상 결과 만족에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 실험 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 결과의 인과관계를 강화하고 추가적으로 미칠 수 있는 변수의 효과를 사전에 배제하기 위해 본 연구는 국내 중견기업에 재직 중인 임직원 136명을 대상으로 실험 연구를 진행하였다. 실험 참가자는 기본적으로 안정그룹 애착 또는 이와 무관한 통제 집단으로 무작위 할당되었고 2대2 협상을 토대로 안정그룹 애착을 부여받은 실험 집단 간의 협상, 중립적 조건에 놓인 통제 집단 간의 협상으로 진행되었다. 실험 연구 결과, 안정그룹 애착을 형성한 집단은 그렇지 않은 집단에 비해 상호 양립 가능한 이해관계에 보다 높은 관심을 두고 있었다. 아울러, 이를 바탕으로 안정그룹 애착은 협상 결과 만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 안정그룹 애착과 협상 결과 만족 사이를 상호 양립 가능한 이해관계가 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 그룹애착 이론 및 협상 등 관련 연구 영역을 한층 더 진전시키는데 기여했으며, 더 나아가 실무적으로도 기업 및 조직 관점에서 협상과 관련하여 경쟁 위주의 전략과 문화를 다소 완화시켜야 할 바를 중요하게 시사하고 있다. 본 연구가 안정그룹 애착이 협상 결과에 미치는 긍정적인 영향을 밝히는데 필요한 연구의 초석이 될 것으로 기대한다.
This study investigated the relationships between group attachment security and satisfaction with the negotiated outcome, and the mediating effect of perceived interest compatibility. To strengthen causal relationships and rule out alternative explanations, this study conducted an experimental study based on employees. I collected data from 136 employees in a middle market enterprise. Participants were randomly assigned to either the secure group attachment or control conditions. All four participant composing one negotiation unit were primed with an group attachment security or neutral condition. Therefore, this study used a one-factor (experimental group vs. control group) between participant design. In this study, The results show that (1) The securely group attachment was positively perceived interest compatibility than control condition (2) Also, perceived interest compatibility in turn positively influenced satisfaction with negotiated outcome. (3) Finally, perceived interest compatibility mediated the relationship between group attachment security and satisfaction with negotiated outcome. This study advances research areas about group attachment and negotiation research, and related variable. In addition, this study indicates that it is necessary for organizations to take a step to alleviate the competitive cultures and strategy on negotiation. The results of this study have laid the foundation for the positive influence of group attachment security.
