본고는 『잡동산이』 초고본 42권과 정서본 53권을 바탕으로 『잡동산이』의 이본과 특징을 살펴보았다. 『잡동산이』의 저자와 관련하여 『안정복일기』52에는 ‘『잡동산이․소설고』를 汝精이 빌려 갔다.[雜同散異小說考汝精借去.]’는 구절이 선명하게 남아있다. 또한 『안정복일기』51에는 안정복의 초서와 저서가 주변 지인들에게 널리 유통․향유되었음을 시사하는 자료가 전하는데, 14종의 서명과 일시 및 빌려 간 사람까지 매우 상세하다. 「순암장서목록」에 따르면, 『잡동산이』는 33권과 42권 등 2종이 등장하는데, 42권의 초고본이 서울대 규장각에 전하고 있을 뿐이다. 한편 정서본 53권에는 총 13권을 누락하고, 초고본에 없는 科文 12편․『浙江鄕試硃卷』(陸飛/嚴誠/潘庭筠)․『黃江問答』(韓弘祚)․「黑衣人傳(孟學士傳)」 등을 수록하고 있다. 더욱이 정서본은 초고본을 차례대로 정서하지 않고, 여러 사람이 정서하여 권차가 뒤죽박죽 뒤섞여 있다. 『잡동산이』 초고본은 몇 가지 특징이 포착된다. 먼저 ‘잡동산이’의 표제 하단에 副題를 기록한 경우가 상당수이다. 또한 표지에 해당 권의 수록 내용을 간략하게 기록하여 목차를 대신하거나, 내지에 목차를 상세하게 기록하기도 한다. 더욱이 해당 권의 이면에도 내용을 수록한 경우, 표지에는 간략한 목차를 기록하고 내지에는 이면의 목차를 부기한다. 이는 『잡동산이』가 일정한 분류 체계를 갖추고 있을 뿐만 아니라 독자를 의식하고 있음을 방증하는 사례이다. 한편 정서본의 『절강향시주권』은 안정복이 어떠한 경로를 통해서 입수하여 수록했는지 확인할 길은 없지만, 『잡동산이』와 관련이 없다고 단정하기도 어렵다. 「순암장서목록」에 등장하는 『잡동산이』의 일부로 추정할 수도 있고, ‘조선총독부취조국’에서 『잡동산이』의 일부를 입수하여 수록할 가능성도 있기 때문이다. 또한 『황강문답』은 노론과 송시열을 옹호하는 견해를 피력한 것으로, 전체가 아닌 그 일부를 수록하고 있다. 당시 노론과 소론의 정치적 견해로 논란을 초래한 사안으로, 안정복은 근기 남인으로 『황강문답』을 입수하여 초서한 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 정서본은 『절강향시주권』과 『황강문답』에서 알 수 있듯이, 초고본에 누락된 『잡동산이』의 일부로서 자료적 가치가 크다고 하겠다.

This article has taken a look at the different version and characteristics of 『Japdongsani (written record of miscellaneous matters written by An Jeong-bok during the reign of King Jeongjo of Joseon Dynasty)』 on the basis of 『Japdongsani』 with 42 volumes of initially-drafted version and 63 volumes of fair copy version that are known to this time. With respect to the author of 『Japdongsani』, 『Diary of An Jeong-bok』 52 still clearly retains the phrase of ‘Yeojeong borrowed 『Japdongsani․Soseolgo』 [Japdongsani Soseolgoye9jeongjajeo.]’. In addition, 『Diary of An Jeong-bok』 51 displays the data that implicates that the initial draft and published book of An Jeong-bok have been broadly distributed and shares with the surrounding acquittances and it provides extremely detailed data with the signature of 14 kinds, date and time and persons who borrowed such information. According to 「Sunam Jangseo Mokrok」, 『Japdongsani』 is emerged with two types in Vol. 33 and Vol. 42, and only the initially-drafted version of Vol. 42 is presented in Gyujang-gak of Seoul National University. In the meantime, Vol. 53 of the fair copy version deletes a total of 13 volumes and it recorded 12 pieces of Gwamun (contents of discourse, 『Jeolganghyangsijugwon』 (Ryukbi/Eomseong/Ban Jeong-gyun), 『Hwanggang Mundap』 (Han Hong-jo)․「Heukuiinjeon (Maenghaksajeon)」 and others that do not have the initially-drafted version. Furthermore, the fair copy version has a number of persons published without the sequential referenced to the initially-drafted version to have the sequence of publishing all mixed up. The initially-drafted version of 『Japdongsani』 contains a few characteristics. First of all, there is a significant number of cases where the lower part of the title for ‘Japdongsani’ has recorded the sub-title. Also, the cover has brief record of contents recorded in the applicable volume to replace the index or detailed record of index on the inner page. Henceforth, for any case of recording the contents on the rear part of the applicable volume, the cover records the brief index and the inner marks the index of the rear side. This would be the case of verifying that 『Japdongsani』 is aware of readers as well as having certain classification system. In the meantime, there is no indication of how An Jeong-bok acquired and record the same from the fair copy version of 『Jeolganghyangsijugwon』 for any confirmation, and it is also difficult to determine if it is not related to 『Japdongsani』 at all. It may be assumed as part of Japdongsani』 that is emerged in 「Sunamjangseo Mokrok」 and there is a possibility for ‘Bureau of Inquiry, Joseon Government General’ to acquire and record part of 『Japdongsani』. In addition, 『Hwanggang Mundap』 depicts its opinion to defend Noron Faction and Song Si-yeol that it covers not its entirety but only a fraction of it. At the time, as an agenda that caused the conflict from political preference by Noron Faction and Soron Faction, An Jeong-bok was a member of Namin Faction to acquire 『Hwanggang Mundap』 for Therefore, the fair copy version, as shown in 『Jeolganghyangsijugwon』 and the initial draft. 『Hwanggang Mundap』, is part of 『Japdongsani』 that is deleted from the initially-drafted version that contains significant data value.
