본고에서 미하엘 하네케 감독의 <하얀 리본>에서 드러나는 공동체 폭력의 의미작용에 대해 고찰한 결과 는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 의사의 집을 중심으로 육체적 폭력은 피해자/가해자의 전도와 배제된 폭력의 흔적을 보여주며, 육체적 공동체는 표면적 위선과 내면적 부 정성의 간극을 드러낸다. 둘째, 남작의 저택을 중심으 로 경제적 폭력은 자본주의의 논리와 희생을 통한 폭 력의 배출을 보여주며, 경제적 공동체는 권력의 반(反) 공동체성과 애도의 공동체를 드러낸다. 셋째, 목사의 집을 중심으로 정신적 폭력은 가부장의 윤리적 폭력과 소수자의 방어적 폭력을 보여주며, 작동하지 않는 공 동체와 연대의 공동체를 드러낸다. <하얀 리본>에서 육체적, 경제적, 정신적 지도자의 보이지 않는 폭력은 공동체의 권력, 저항, 모순을 드러낸다.
This paper examines the meaningful role of community violence in director Michael Haneke's "The White Ribbon," and the results are as follows. First, physical violence, centered on the house of doctor, shows reversal of the victims/perpetrators and traces of violence excluded, and the physical community reveals a gap between superficial hypocrisy and internal negativity. Second, economic violence, centered on the Baron's residence, shows the logic of capitalism and the discharge of violence by sacrifice, and the economic community reveals the anti-community of power and mourning community. Third, mental violence, centered on the pastor's house, shows ethical violence by the patriarch and defensive violence of the minority, exposing unworking communities that and united communities. In “The White Ribbon,” the invisible violence of physical, economic, and spiritual leaders reveals the power, resistance, and contradiction of the community.
