이 연구는 대학 부설 교육기관의 교재 개발 과정과 실제를 공유함으로써 교재를 개발하고자 하는 기관이나 연구자들에게 도움이 되도록 하는 데 목적이있다. 대학 부설기관의 학습자들이 한국의 대학이나 대학원 진학을 목표로 하고 있다는 것을 고려하여 동명대학교에서는 한국어능력시험(TOPIK)의 텍스트를 교재의 듣기와 읽기 텍스트로 활용하였다. 또한 실제 한국어능력시험(TOPIK) 기출문제를 복습과에 배치하여 교재 내용을 학습하면서 동시에 한국어능력시험(TOPIK)에도 대비할 수 있도록 하였다. 교재 개발의 절차를 ‘개발 전 단계 ⇨ 개발 단계 ⇨ 시험 사용 단계 ⇨ 완성 단계’로 설정하고 각 단계의 세부 내용을 살펴보았으며 교재 단원 구성의 실제를 구체적으로 다루었다. 한국어 교재에 대한 연구는 교재 분석이나 교재 개발 현황, 교재 개발의 원리나 방안에 대한 연구가 대부분이며 교재 개발의 실제를 다룬 연구는 많지 않은 편이다. 이에 교재 개발의 실제를 다룬 이 연구는 타 기관의 교재 개발에많은 도움이 될 것이다.
The purpose of this study is to provide useful information on the process and thepractical status of textbook development for university-affiliated institutes andresearchers developing textbooks. Considering that the goal of those studying atuniversity-affiliated institutes is entering a Korean university or graduate school,Tongmyong University utilized text in the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) forthe listening and reading contents in the textbooks. In addition, actual TOPIKquestions were added in the review section so that students can study the textbookcontent and prepare for the TOPIK at the same time. The procedure for developingtextbooks was designed as "pre-development → development → application to the test→ completion, " and the details of each stage were examined. Additionally, the actualstructure of the textbook units was reviewed in detail. Most previous studies onKorean textbooks dealt with the analysis of textbooks, the status of textbookdevelopment, and the principles or methods of textbook development, and only fewof them investigated the practical status of textbook development. In this regard, thisresearch on the practical status of textbook development will provide other instituteswith useful data for the development of textbooks.
