자평학은 천년 이상 음지에서 이어져 온 학문이라 전수방식이 불분명하여 원리와 논리에 ‘이와전와’가 발생했다. 이런 문제를 두고 여타 학계에서는 ‘오류 유형’이라는 주제로 연구되었으나, 자평학에서 ‘이와전와’의 원인과 개선방안을 연구한 사례는 없었다. 이에 본 논고는 문헌 연구 방법을 통해서, 『설문해자』의 음양과 『연해자평』･『명리정종』의 생극과 격국이론 및 『자평진전』의 「논시설이와전와」를 중심으로 자평학의 ‘이와전와’ 발생 원인을 연구했다. 그 결과 음양과 생극 및 격국과 운에 의한 변화를 이해하고 적용하는 방식의 오류에서 ‘이와전와’가 발생하였음을 확인했다. 그러므로 음양과 생극에 맞는 간지의 적용과 구별, 월령 중심의 격국과 변격의 이해, 운에 따른 희기의 명확한 구분이 요구된다. ‘이와전와’ 연구는 자평학 발전을 위해서 지속되어야 할 과제이다.
Because Japyeong theory has been in the dark and the disseminating the study was unclear, so ‘A lie snowballs’ has been occurred in principle and logic. To solve this issue, other academia has been studying under the theme of ‘Type of error.’ But there have been no cases in Japyeong theory academia that have studied the causes and improvements of the ‘A lie snowballs.’ In this paper, the cause of the ‘A lie snowballs’ is studied by interpreting the discussing A lie snowballs described in Japyeongjinjeon as a literature research method based on YinYang of ShuoWenJieZi and SaengKeug, Gyeokguk theory of Yeonhaejapyeong Myeongrijeongjong. As a result, it is confirmed that ‘A lie snowballs’ occurred due to errors in the way of understanding and applying changes due to YinYang, SaengKeug, GyeokGuk and luck. Therefore, it is reaquired that the application and distinction of GanZhi suitable for YinYang and SaengKeug, understanding of the Gyeokguk and ByeonGyeok based on WolYeong, clear distinction of HeuGi. The study of the ‘A lie snowballs’ is a task that must be continued for the development of Japyeong theory.
