2022년 3월 ≪한국근현대사연구≫ 100집이 나온다. 이는 28년이라는 시간과 수많은 한국근현대사 연구자들이 여기에 참여하여 만든 결과물이다. 소장, 신진학자들이 중심이 되어 지난날 한국근현대사학회의 연구현황을 점검해 보기로 했다. 필자는 ≪한국근현대사학회≫에 수록된 현대 한국 정치 논문 현황을맡았다. ≪한국근현대사학회≫에는 1945년부터 1980년대까지 건국준비위원회, 제주4·3사건, 반민특위, 여순사건, 5·18광주민주화운동 등 다양한 주제를가지고 여러 연구자들이 참여하고 있었다. 지난날 한국근현대사학회 역사를 점검한다는 것은 학회의 미래를 위한 것이다. 필자는 이를 위해 몇 가지를 제안했다. 첫 번째 제안은 현대사 전공자들의활발한 서평활동이었다. 두 번째로 연구자들이 모여 공동의 주제로 연구하고그것을 논문으로 생산해 내자는 것이다. 마지막으로 제안한 것은 젊은 현대사연구자들이 앞장서 교양총서를 발간하고 교양강좌를 개설하여 일반인들과 역사를 공유할 수 있는 길을 만들어가자는 것이다.
The Association for Korean Modern and Contemporary History will publish the special edition reaching Journal of Korean Modern and Contemporary History Vol.100 issue in March, 2020. It took 28 years until Journal of Korean Modern and Contemporary History Vol.100 go out in the world. It was the result of participating many Korea Historian. Young and rising scholars will make a plan to check the past research position of The Association for Korean Modern and Contemporary History. This writer took charge of checking the contemporary Korea political paper including Journal of Korean Modern and Contemporary History Vol.1~99. The Various political topics, such as the Preparatory Committee for the Nation building, The Special committee for Investigation on Anti-national activity, Jeju 4.3 Incident, Yosun Incident was published in Journal of Korean Modern and Contemporary History Vol.1~99. The review task of The Association for Korean Modern and Contemporary History’s history shall be work the future of this association. This writer was a few recommendation for the future of The Association for Korean Modern and Contemporary History. This writer contend that Korea contemporary majors shall often writer Book Review of the major’s book. The second, our association need to joint Research. The last, This writer was suggest to published cultural historical books and to open culture class. These work will contribute sympathize Korean modern and contemporary history with general public.
