본 연구는 임진왜란 피로인 쇄환외교를 통해 재일조선인 문제을 비롯한 한반도 내 포로문제에 관한 함의를 전달하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 문헌연구를 통해 조선피로인 쇄환에 나타난 특성을 발굴하며, 그 중에서도 개인적 요인에 주목한다. 이후, 개인적 요인 관점에서 조선피로인 및 재일조선인 문제를 접근하여 송환 과정에서의 개인적 요인이 어떻게 작용하였는지 분석한다. 이를 통해 포로문제 논의에 있어서의 개인적 요인의 중요성을 제시하고 향후 한반도 내 포로문제 해결에 관한 접근방안을 제언한다. 한반도 내 포로문제는 납북자 문제와 비전향장기수 문제로 나뉘어 접근할 수 있다. 본 연구는 각 문제에 대한 구체적인 발전방향을 제시한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
This study aims to convey implications for the issue of prisoners on the Korean Peninsula, including through the Diplomacy on Repatriation in the Imjin War(Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592). First, this study discovers the characteristics of the repatriation of Kidnapped Chosun People through literature research and focuses on individual factors. After that, this paper analyzes how individual elements worked in the repatriation process. Finally, it helps to understand the importance of individual factors in discussing the prisoner problem and propose an approach to solving the prisoner problem on the Korean Peninsula. This study is meaningful because it presents specific development directions for solving prisoners' issues in the Korean peninsula.
