With the continuous expansion of the art exhibition’s functions, it has become a complex cultural space. Art exhibitions are being transformed into a "communication hall" with a space for visual cultural appreciation, guiding audiences to communicate with each other and conveying information about works. “Art & Creativity” creative arts interconnection exhibition ("Art & Creativity" exhibition) is a cross-time, cross-region and cross-space exhibition, which plays a role as a link of cross-cultural communication. The purpose of this research is to improve the influence of communication with cross-cultural fusion, and it is difficult to experience the power of cultural communication in general art exhibition spaces. First of all, this study analyzes the art exhibition cultural space, explores 3 phenomena of cross-cultural fusion and communication, finds 7 characteristics of fluidity. Secondly, the “Art & Creativity” exhibition was selected for case analysis, discovering 4 important characteristics of fluidity. Finally, the specific connotation and relationship of fluidity characteristics are tested by the experimental method of observation and interview. Therefore, this study is able to conduct specific research on the fluidity characteristics of cross-cultural communication through analyzing the art exhibition cultural space. The study results are that in the context of network services, new media art, cultural fusion, regional connection, and visitor experience are the specific manifestations of cross-cultural communication. Based on these study results, I look forward to conducting comparative research on art exhibitions in more different regions and countries.
