The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of online class using self-regulated learning note on self-regulated learning ability and science academic achievement of elementary school students. For this study, two classes of 4th grade elementary school located in Gyeonggi-do were selected as experimental and comparative groups. The applied unit is the 4th grade science 'Life cycle of a plant'. In this unit, because of the constraints of space and time, teachers mainly explain the knowledge, and the interest is low. The results of this study were as follows. Online class using self-regulated learning note had a positive effect on elementary school students' self-regulated learning ability and science academic achievement. Therefore, additional research on self-regulated learning method and online class is needed to prepare for the post-corona era and provide future education that fits the characteristics of the digital native generation.
