본 논문에서는 영화를 이용한 온라인 일본문화 수업 사례를 대면 방식으로 진행했던 동일한 수업 사례와 비교함으로써, 비대면 방식 수업의 장점과 보완해야 할 부분에 대해 생각해보았다. 이러한 과정을 통해 당분간 지속될 비대면 환경에서 일본문화 교육을 보다 효과적으로 이끌어갈 방법에 대해 모색해보고자 하였다. 실시간 온라인 수업의 장점은 두 가지였다. 우선, 채팅 기능을 활용하여 많은 학생들이 강의에 실시간으로 의견을 제시했다. 쌍방향 리얼타임 대화 형식의 수업이 가능해진 것이다. 두 번째로, 일본문화를 습득하는 가장 좋은 창구가 일본인과의 직접적인 교류임은 새삼 강조할 필요도 없겠지만, 그동안의 대면 수업 방식에서는 현실적으로 실현이 어려웠다. 그러나 실시간 온라인 수업이라면, 온라인을 통해 공동 수업이나 특강의 형태로 일본의 대학생들과의 교류가 가능할 것이다. 코로나 사태의 장기화로 인해 당분간은 대면·비대면 방식의 하이브리드 학습의 형태로 대학 교육이 진행될 것으로 보인다. 이러한 상황에서, 온라인 학습의 쌍방향화와 원격 수업의 가능성을 열어준 비대면 방식 수업의 장점을 최대한 활용하여, 보다 다채로운 수업을 설계하는 것이 교육의 질을 향상하는데 중요한 역할을 할 것이다.
In this paper, the advantages and improvements of non-face-to-face teaching are considered by comparing with the same examples of face-to-face Japanese culture classes using film content. Through this process, ways to promote effective Japanese culture education will be presented in a non-face-to-face environment. Real-time online lessons have two advantages : First, real-time interactive conversation is possible. Many students participated in class expressing their opinions through 'live chat'. Second, interaction with Japanese university students is possible. Although real life interaction with Japanese is key to learn Japanese culture, it is difficult to meet in person. Whereas real-time online classes may realise interaction with Japanese university students in the form of online joint lectures and special lectures. Due to the prolonged corona situation, university education can be promoted in the hybrid form of both face-to-face and non-face-to-face learning which will result in improving the quality of education.
